Got my copy of WWSM08, started 5 days ago with Mahindra Utd., Air India looked too difficult for me. I am in real life dual UK/US citizen which may help later, if I get that far!
After 11 league games I am 3rd, 6 pts. behind Mohun Bagan & 12 behind East Bengal. East Bengal have beaten Mahindra 4 times, twice in league and in two cup finals.
Several of my signings are called Singh - I even though of doing a sub challenge of winning the league with a team of only Singhs.
Will update at end of season.

Sign David Bikim.

One of the best midfielders available.

Ok, quick little update.

Completed my 2nd season (08/09) winning the league again.

Also won the Durand Cup and therefore qualified for the Asian Confederation Cup.

Hopefully and i think this is essential to win, to help boost the manager reputation to help move onto to Hong Kong.

I will post screen shots soon.

I did, was ok when he was not suspended, here are the players' ratings.

Finished 3rd,
final table and summary

Did a season in a week, takes me a least a month in English non-league.

Everyone seems to be doing okay with Mahindra Utd. Will be interesting to see who is first person to jump ship and how long it takes them.

Will start mine again once I get bored with my Leicester City save.

Sorry for lack of updates, just renewed XBL and COD4 has taken control!

Finished my second season (08/09) in 2nd place behind East Bengal, found this season more difficult in bringing in players and I wasn't helped when ace forward Majit Singh was out injured for 6 months

Anyway, won the Federations cup and got knocked out of the Durand Cup at the semi-final stage by East Bengal.

Screenies later.

I have decided that I'll give this a go!

Not sure how fast I'll be able to keep up though due to other commitments outside of FM (yup, there are other commitments!)

Started with Mahindra Utd, and set about signing some talent to try and win an really short league season. Afetr getting to the semi's of the Federation Cup, I've made some progress in the league, and after 8 games sit second, behind East Bengal, who have won all there games to date (I have suffered one draw).

With the season being so short, it looks like Bengal are going to be hard to beat, but I'll keep going and see if I can nick it.

Quick question about continental qualification. I assume that the league winners go directly into the confederations cup, and looking at the past history it looks like the winners of the fed cup do as well. Any qualification from the Durand cup which is coming up soon??
