I meant to run this one season at a time, but because of various commitments i had to set it holidaying til then, i can probably do a list of transfers for each season.

Surely it would have been more significant to start them in the Premiership because now they will be at a disadvantage as I imagine they will be losing there best players to teams in higher leagues.

I don't think it would have been relevanet, the reputation alone would have kept them there, and as i stated first off, if they wanted to play in the premiership they would have had to go through the leagues.
I will however take a look at transfers out, to see what happened.

So far the English Premier League and Scottish Premier League has been won by 4 different clubs in 4 seasons, non have managed to retain the title, and non have won it twice.Season 2009/10Season 2009/10

I have looked at the transfers in and out by Celtic and they do lose a lot of players as Foxmad predicted, they do splash out a little though, so they can still attract players.
As I stated the aim of the experiment was to see if they could rise through the ranks of the football league, in real life they would lose players also so this reflects that.
If people are still interested i will carry on with the updates (starting with Rangers transfers).
If not I will stop now and move on to something else.
