Nick was a quiet boy who grew up in a suburb of Ottawa. He performed well enough in school, but his real love was football, or soccer as he knew it then. His English dad originally got him into it, and from that first game he played in, he was hooked. When he was ten, Nick's family moved to Suffolk in England. He quickly joined a sunday league team called StowFalcons. Nick started off playing in midfield, but he seemed to lack a certain quality. An injury to a team mate at the start of the U12 season saw Nick play at left back, and that was when he started to play really well. He then moved to centre back and excelled, but was not noticed by any scouts
Now obviously he doesn't play there anymore, and this is why. Whe nhe was 16, he started playing for a men's team, at right back. Whe na striker injury crisis hit the reserves, he was used as an emergency striker where he bagged several goals. He moved to the first team and kept up his emphatic scoring. Picked up by AFC Sudbury, Nick continued to shine in the Ryman First Division, when he was spotted by St. Albans in a pre-season friendly to the 07/08 season, and here we are now...
