Im glad to see you follow through on this idea, sounds very interesting.

My prediction is that the nations with the 'spine' will do better than the wingers, mainly because they will have a quality GK (which is very important for a poor team), and also because they will have a striker to score some goals. However I could be wrong...

I would think that assuming most of the star players can stay injury free, one of the teams should be able to qualify for a world cup / continental cup during the star players careers.

Sounds like a good idea.

I'm going to go for the backbone nations, I think that the one quality striker will make the difference with a side like that.

Great idea for an experiment. as for the nations I'll predict the "backbones" to achieve greater things than the "wingers" since they have both the quality keeper and the quality striker in their region. Eagerly waiting for the first batch of updates.

Nice idea,i predict that
1)it will improve their fortunes
2)The rankings would change to the top 100.
3)at most 2 countries would qualify
4)It will be mofre pronounced in the bigger confederations
5) the backbone nations will perform better.
6)More than 50 % will move after 1 season
7)There will be only 1 better regen at most.

I think I'll be backing Guam to be the most successful team in the experiment.
