Default SirToby's British Challenge 08

Then I try a 08 version of my challenge. The first didn't get so much respons. Hopefully it was just because that FM08 was near. I will surely start a game with this challenge later.

SirToby's British Challenge 08

It's a simply as that you going to take control of either Llanelli or TNS from the Welsh Premier League, because Wales is the lowest ranked country in Great Britain on the FIFA World Ranking.

After doing that you mission are set to begin: Win all the four leagues in Britain. The English, the Scottish, the Northern Irish and to begin with the Welsh. If you have problem with getting a new job after eventually winning the league with Llanelli or TNS, then you have to try out your abilities in Europe and get a name out there to improve you reputation. Or you could take control of some smaller clubs in for example England.

There aren't some specific rules. I expect that no cheating will go on and that people will play with some realistic rules like in LLM. But that isn't a claim.

If it is something for you, then post your results here rolling (for example with SS).

Good luck with your game, let's us see which is the quickest man to completed the challenge.

I don't think you need to know much about Welsh football. If you know playing in the lowest English leagues, this should be the same.

Good luck.

Well i started as TNS and lost in champs league 1-0 on aggregate, but not too bothered!
Won first 8 league games, scoring 28 conceding 5 and being 7 clear at top, through to 3rd round of Welsh cup and doing well in challenge cup!
will keep you posted on how things go but so far going well !

Hey Sir Toby,

Nice challenge, I did something very similar myself on FM07. Check out Bamble's Home Nations Challenge (currently near the bottom of Page 2 of the Sign up/challenges Forum) and feel free to pinch any of the Rules and Regs I had for that one.

Oh, cheers. I will look at it. Any specific things you think, I should add to this challenge from yours?

I like the idea but not the starting point. I independantly decided to do this challenge to LLM rules, but I've started as Chimney Corner in Northern Irish Division Two, and was then going to go Wales, Scotland and England in that order. If that's acceptable I'll keep you guys posted, and regardless I'll keep a keen eye on people's progress here.

If you prefer that way more than mine, it's okay. And yes, please hold us updated.

A more challenging way off course and if you like that, go on.
