Real London - End of Season Update!

Final League Position - 12th - After a looong start to the season, I changed Tactics and along with it, my fortunes on the field. Operating much more defensively, playing on the counter, i began to dominate possession against teams above and below me, and wen on an awesome 10 game run, which had 9 wins and only the 1 defeat.
It wasnt enough to get me into the Play-Off's however, finishing a promising mid-table.

Star Man - Phil Younghusband - Yes, i got Chelsea as a Parent club, but the only sent 2 players, niether who were anything special. Younghusband however, did score a lot of goals, only because the other 5 forwards in my team arent worthy of a place in the reserve leagues.

I'm in. Spent time editing the database last night and the mighty F.C. Cheadle Heath who play their home games at the Cheadle Arena (capacity 2500) have replaced Burscough in the Blue Square North.

Bugger! Had wondered why yours was 2005! Now I know!
My team started well in the first friendly against Bromley, ok we lost 4-3, but the next four games we got hammered with barely a shot on or off target.
My players seem to have difficulty with some of the basics of the game. Like the ball for example. I swear some of them have never seen one before.
Played my first two league games and lost both away 1-0.

Is it classed as cheating to set my reserve team up to play some friendlies? Otherwise they have no games to play and I was hoping this could be used to create some income for the club.
I've managed to get a couple of players on loan but most of those who I've tried to get simply aren't interested. I've got a few players on a free but this has increased my wage budget to well above the recommended level.

Pre-season odds have given the "minnows" of FC Cheadle Heath 5000/1 chance of winning the title

This is going to be a long hard slog and I need to get a Physio.
One of my centre-halves condition hit 25% after 65 minutes of the second league game without any noticeable injuries during the match.

I couldn't be too bothered with the second and third kits as I just wanted to get on with the game. Agreed when I looked at them after I'd saved the database they looked a bit lame.

Another thing, my board couldn't get me a parent club. This is a devastating blow for the team and I'm surprised at my chairman who says he loves the club, however seems uninterested in helping me turn the team into winners
