This sounds like a lot of fun. A lot like dafuge's challenge, but I think it'd be more engaging because the club is your own spawn. I think it'd be even better if you gave us graphics noobs a link to some guides on making kits and logos so that we can flesh out our new teams. </BLOCKQUOTE>

Im going to really enjoy this challenge. Its a very similar thing i do with a buddy (you may have seen the thread in editors hideaway) where we play a network game with the same rules, except we both add ourselves in the game. (not as supermen either. I add him in with the stats i think he geuninely has, and he does the same for me)

If anybody is wishing to play this game, but cant be bothered, or doesnt know how to edit the DB, let me know and ill put this one on Rapidfileshare or something similar. I gave the club a rep of 750 to make it as hard as possible.

that black and gold kit is ugly as hell ha. the others are ok tho.

I had a feeling that would happen with the chairman and staff but didnt expect the players. Are they any good or just your standard useless Blue Square Regens.

i like how the 2 year plan is to stay clear of relegation. as long as you stay clear of relegation in the second year, you are ok. however, if you get relegated in the first year....

The players, however, are pathetic. Im getting battered in every friendly (scores range from 0-5 to 0-9 )

After losing 7 Friendlies straight, I didnt expect much in the league, as the friendlies were all against teams lower than the Blue Square South!

Two great results!

7 Pre-season Transfers in, along with 6 Staff members (screenies of everything in end of season update).

Odd thing - Although in the editor i put the required '£3000' wage limit .. it started at a massive.... £0. Yup, nothing. As i signed players, the wage bill went up, then stopped at £280 pw. Pretty poor, as im spending around £1,600 pw on wages. Hope this doesnt become a problem with the board.

The one thing im REALLY disliking about doing this, is the fact that, as i've used the editor, any record I break isnt eligable for the FM08 Records thread. Even though they are perfectly legitimate records, as the only thing i've done is create new club/stadia.. im still not allowed to enter them. Its quite annoying, since i've already broken 2, and have 2 more for new catagories. Perhaps if this challenge clicks on, we can have an in-topic records thread with minimal records, (just the standard)...

But still, love the idea of this challenge...
