I'm pretty sure I used medium database last season anyway.

The database was set at medium for everyone last season i think.

Come on Flux!

He's screaming out to be nicknamed "Coldplay" .

Dafuge - if you can help I would be greatful. I sent an email to the creator of the website (dafuges08challenge) about me being called "supermas" on the website, yet "Supermas2" on these forums - i was wondering if you thought it would be any problem.

Although it would mean i appear as "supermas" on the list, yet "Supermas2" on my posts, due to the closeness of the two names, everyone will know it is me?
I can't see any problem with that. </BLOCKQUOTE>

Okay - many thanks

I've just re-loaded and it's only the 3rd time, (out of 16), that Chelmsford haven't been promoted. More than that, it's the 1st time that AFC Wimbledon haven't been promoted.

And all I get for my troubles are Billericay, Hitchin, Margate, Merthyr, Witton & Worksop .
I think it's to do with what leagues they come from - if you look at the list that Dafuge posted at the start of the thread, AFC Wimbledon and Chelmsford are by far the highest reputation teams in the Isthmian Premier. There are only two other teams over 1000 in the Isthmian - which means that you'll almost always get one or both of AFC Wimbledon and Chelmsford, and when they very, very, very occasionally both don't come up, you'll almost certainly get the other two plus 1000 teams - Billericay and Margate. I reloaded for over an hour and never got anyone other than these four from the Isthmian Premier.

On the other hand, you seem to be impressively lucky when it comes to reloading, Jimbo - it took me over an hour to get ANY sub-1000 teams - and you got five in your first ten reloads! And Chippenham first time when you were loading with the large database!

Morning all

A couple of quick questions....

1) well more of a statement really - I have started with Halesowen (rep 900) but they seem to actually be quite good - i.e. have a full squad of players (at least 2 for each position of a 442) and a decent enough Ass Man and Coach from the start plus a full squad of non-grey youth players a couple of which are also decent - anyone else found this? Was the 900 reputation wrong??

2) As well as the above we also start with a parent club (Kidderminster) and a feeder club (Romulus!?!?). As part of both these argeements we are meant to play friendlys. They are no on the fixture list so is it up to me to organise them or will they appear as a advance through the pre-season (am in early July at the moment)?

As for the rules, does that mean we cannot sign unattached players or does our scout have to find them first?
Your scouts don't have to find them, you can search for the players however you want. Once you have found them though, you must either be able to get a scout report on them or bring them on trial at the club. </BLOCKQUOTE>

On this point. When i got to the middle of November i checked my player search screen, due to the fact i had an injury problem, and found around 10-15 young Anguillan players?!?! I offered them all trials as i couldn't scout them and about 4 of them are league 2 quality, does that mean i could sign them now, it just seems a little unrealistic to me, but i could use do with them. </BLOCKQUOTE>

All the carribean nations appeared at this point on fm07, you can often sign prem pot players!. They all have english 2nd nationality.
If they come on trial then you should be able to sign them.

All great teams play in red and white stripes
Just avoid teams all in blue!

Still waiting for my game to come through the post , then i can get started to beat last years championship finish.

Is that this Steve Torpey? If so, he's been pretty great for me, though I've been playing him as an attacking midfielder rather than a striker...

Well as you have given them trials than yes I would have thought.
