Probably known, but my board is always expecting a difficult season where we'll be struggling.
The funny thing though, is that I've finished in the top three of the Serie A for the past few years now. The board just doesn't learn from that. I can imagine the club reputation plays a role (I'm managing San Marino).
But season expectations where I finished 3rd last year and bought Milan's top defender for 22M should not leave me "struggling". Mind you, it's easy to keep the board delighted with my performance
I'll take a look into this - if you've that sort of money to spend and are doing consistently well your reputation should have risen enough to put pressure on you ...
Thanks Marc. Some details for you then to diagnose:
league history, playing San Marino from the start:
06/07 to 08/09 Serie C1/B: 12th, 4th, 3rd (promotion to Serie B through playoff)
09/10 Serie B: 2nd, promotion to Serie A; (Note: I remember not playing any Italian Cup football that season and thinking it was strange)
10/11 to 16/17 Serie A: first year 12th, then 5th, the rest of the years ending 3rd except for one 2nd place.
I have 1 Italian Cup and 1 UEFA Cup in the trophy room. (I think from 11/12 and 12/13, but I'm not sure)
Numbers in Euro:
Yearly transfer budget is between 25M to 35M
Wage budget is 1.4M a week
Max wage 65/week
Current total: 675K/week
Current highest: 70/week
My own reputation is 2016, 4th placed in the hall of fame.

expectations anyway
For one, it's just not fun. If I'm consistently playing for CL spots, then I should get some pressure from the board as well. Knowing you'll exceed expectations simply is way too easy.
A small update though, in my current season, the expectations have risen from "difficult season" to "respectable league position"; still, this time I think I may actually win the Serie A title, so expectations are IMHO still on the low side.
As for the save, I don't have a USB cable to hook up my PSP so I don't think I can get the save online... Or can I?
