Im sure you'll all be glad to know I've just started work on the first update for FMH2008.

I hope to release it over the weekend, the first one will be pretty basic and be mainly managerial changes..

(I'm putting my idea of including forum members in the game on hold temporarily but hope to complete it in a couple of weeks)

Although I dont have the editor yet im initially very impressed with the editing capabilities, the ability to move managers around is very good (I suggested it!) and Im just about to test it on international managers (McClaren out!?)..

Also, as we've been told, the name change seems to work fine, I've just made a couple of youth players for sheffield wednesday...

Also, I mispelled a team name in my file and all the changes after it still happened... A Proffesional Editors dream perhaps...

Glad you like that - it does meean however that missing the 'mistakes' is a little harder now.

(which was why it wasn't like that previously)

You should also find it a little harder to crash the main game if you put the wrong number of clubs in a division now (the game is intelligent enough to 'roll back' division changes if this happens in most cases).
