9/3/06 Bowyer on form as Rangers scrape through
Lee Bowyer was man of the match as Rangers scraped a 1-0 result at the Mestalla against Valencia. Frau got the goal before going off injured which lead to a more defensive tactic from Rangers, on another day and if David Villa could finish his chances Rangers would have lost heavily. 30/3/06 Rangers hold out for draw
Rangers managed to keep a hold of a 0-0 draw at Ibrox which will set up a difficult second leg at Highbury. Rangers would have wanted to have scored at least once at home while keeping a clean sheet but now they will need to again keep a clean sheet or indeed score while not letting Arsenal score more. Rangers 0-0 Arsenal - Ibrox
Goals
Injuries
MoM - Steven Campbell(9) - Rangers

6/4/06 Rangers fall short at Highbury
Rangers were defeated by a classy Arsenal side at Highbury and knocked out of the UEFA Cup quarter final. There were chances for Rangers but they could not take them when they came their way Thomas Buffel had a magnificant chance at 2-0 down, Dado Prso also had a goal chalked off for offside just minutes after the 2nd Arsenal goal and Barry Ferguson had a great chance to put Rangers 1 ahead early on. This campaign has boosted Rangers reputation in Europe and has lifted their standards to realistic targets in Europe, next season the fans will be looking for a run equally as good at least. Arsenal 2-0 Rangers - Highbury
Goals
Injuries - Steven Campbell
MoM - Jens Lehmann(9) - Arsenal
