Sensational European night at Ibrox

Rangers showed a truly magnificant second half performance against Real Madrid again. Rangers took the lead through Lee Bowyers stunning strike from 25yards but Ronaldo got Real back on level terms beating Klos 1 on 1. Rangers reclaimed the lead in the second half as manager McKissocks rising team talk seemed to tweak the Rangers performance Dado Prso the scorer. Prso netted a 2nd just 2 mins later as Rangers continued to get their attacking 4 players in behind the Real defence. Lee Bowyer netted a tap in as Rangers began to embaress Real but Raul seemed to restore respect to the scoreline in the 86th only for that to be dashed by Thomas Buffel's tap in in stopage time.

Rangers 5-2 Real Madrid - Ibrox

Goals - Bowyer(2), Prso(2), Buffel
Injuries
MoM - Lee Bowyer(10) - Rangers

In the first round of penalties Telfer missed and Frau scored. Second Round Prso missed and Maloney scored. Third round of penalties and Thomas Buffel scored after Sutton blazed his over. Fourth round was Zurawskis was saved and Ferguson cooly slotted home.

Caley unlucky not to score victory

Rangers played very flatly as Caley thistle succesfuly combated Rangers attacking tactics. It wasnt until another tactical switch and 3 changes that Rangers began to dominate but it was too late to seal the win. Brewster opened the scoring only for his goal to be canceled out by Frau.

Inverness CT 1-1 Rangers - Caledonian Stadium
Goals - Frau
Injuries
MoM - Dennis Wyness(8) - Inverness CT
