A draw was a fair result in a very exciting but equal match. Both goalkeepers kept their sides in it as both defences came out on top in fairness. Buffel had opened the scoring for Rangers but with 20mins to go Hartson netted the equaliser.
Pierre Alain-Frau became joint top scorer by netting a 30 yard stunner with 5mins to go to put Rangers 1up against a brave Dunfermline who battled hard. Again it was a story of missed chances by Rangers but a 2-0 scoreline was certainly deserved. Kris Boyd netted the 2nd deep into injury time to make sure of the result.
Rangers lost 3-1 at home to Lyon, however the result may have been different if Mark Wilson hadnt been sent off for a ridiculous two footed challenge. Carew put Lyon in the lead but Buffel restored parity. It wasnt until the 81st and 82nd mins that Lyon got their 2nd and 3rd goals.
1/10/05 Rangers dominate Hearts in enthrawling encounter
Despite the 1-0 scoreline it was a magnificent game. Dado Prso scored for the first time in 7 games and his goal remained the only one through some superb goalkeeping by Steve Banks.
Rangers eased passed Livingston at Almondvale. The scoreline 4-0 was a fair reflection of the match and it could well have been worse. Dado Prso's 2nd hattrick in only 3 days as he got one for Croatia mid-week. Pierre Alain-Frau scored the opener early on.
18/10/05 Rangers perform magnificantly to earn draw in Spain
Rangers showed what they are really capable of to earn a 3-3 draw at Real Madrid. Rangers went ahead through Dado Prso but were pegged back by Ronaldo 5mins later. Raul put Real Madrid in front in the 21st min but Rangers pegged Real back with Kily Gonzalez netting the equaliser from the spot. Ronaldo restored the lead 6mins before halftime. After the break Rangers dominated creating numerous chances and Thomas Buffel restored parity puncing on the rebound off a Prso shot.

We dont need to have titles handed too us! Post #28
Lovenkrands marked his 1st start of the season with a fabulous goal. His opener was a thrashed strike from the edge of the area into the top right hand corner of the net. Out of favour for most of the season so far because he doesnt fit into the tactics but a change of tactics over the past few games and Kily Gonzalez's injury has given him a chance. Frau got the 2nd after a nice move.
Rangers 2-0 Aberdeen - Ibrox
