With Mark Milligan back from suspension, he took his place back on the field, with Matthew Bingley again being placed back onto the bench.

Queensland started the match stronger, going 2-0 up by half time through Carro and Pierre. After the break, Brosque made it 3-0. Could we still win this match? Sasho Petrovski sure gave us some glimmer of hope in the 71st minute when he scored to make it 3-1, but even with the sending off of Tyler Simpson for Queensland in the 78th minute, we still couldn't manage another goal. 3-1 it ended and we had suffered our second defeat of the season inside 3 weeks.
