Very limited funds to spend, but we do have one more new signing. Former Real Betis star Denilson is set to join us on a free.
Frienlys confirmed are
23/7 Arsenal Tivat
25/7 Mornar
27/7 Vojvodina
29/7 Novi Sad
All of which are part of our tour of Serbia and montenegro
Our opening fixture just to test us will be Vs Arsenal
Brail also ended Englands World cup hopes in a 4-3 win on pens after a 0-0 draw in the quater finals. July
Brazil won the world cup in the end meanwhile my lack of transfer funds has left me with a misson that fans on Bargin Hunt would love.
We brought in a total of 7 plays while only spending 900k
Michael Svensson (Southampton), Massimo Maccarone (Middlesbough), Denilson (Bordeaux), Nikkel Bischoff (Manchester City), Robbie Fowler (Free) and Cimen (Free) all join the club for nothing while i signed 22 year old Paraguayian keeper Anthony Silva for 350k from Santos Laguna and 22 year old Scotland keeper Iain Turner from Everton.
We've also signed Louis Saha on loan for the season from Manchester United. Friendlys
Arsenal Tivat 0 - 8 Leeds
Goals: Robbie Fowler (5,19) Dejan Jankovic (O.G 24), Massimo Maccarone (25, 57 Pen), Gylfi Einarsson (42), Rob Hulse (86,88)
Mornar 0 - 2 Leeds
Goals: Gylfi Einarsson (21), Louis Saha (59)
Vojvodina 1 - 3 Leeds
Goals: Leeds: Robbie Fowler (33), Louis Saha (46), Massimo Maccarone(66) Vojvodina: Sinisa Pesic (22)
Novi Sad 1 - 2 Leeds
Goals: Leeds: Eirik Bakke (10) Simon Walton (pen 87) Novi Sad: Zelijko Dimitijevic (64)
Good pre-season, all thats left now is to look forward to the opening game of the Premiership.

The season is offically underway with Chelsea defeating Manchester United 3-1 in the Community Shield
Bookies have made their picks with Chelsea 6-4 Favourites to win the title, Man Utd 7-4, Liverpool 2-1, Arsenal 25-1, Newcastle and Tottenham both 40-1
Meanwhile we're 200-1 with the bookies putting the bet on us to go down. Saturday 12th August 2006 Arsenal Vs Leeds United
And so the season begins. Our line up is as follows.
Formation 4-1-2-1-2 - Turner, Harding, Bischoff, Svensson, Marques, Derry, Denilson, Bakke, Einarsson, Blake, Maccarone Subs: Walton, Gregan, Lewis, Cresswell, Saha.
What a dream start. 8 mins in and Maccarone has a shot saved from keeper De Sanctis, which rebounds to the feet of Blake to score, 24 mins and were 2 up after a penalty delivered by Blake.
Then the bubble burst. 2 mins later Henry got onto a Reyes shot that was deflected to make it 2-1 and with in 5 mins it was 2-2 Henry beating Bischoff to put it away. Goal of the match had to be Gilberto Silva's one. 51 mins in and he jumped onto a cleared corner from 35 yards out and took a shot that sailed over the keeper, much like David Beckhams one for Man Utd against Wimbledon.
Still it was a good perforance from my team, and we can't go home too unhappy Arsenal 3 - 2 Leeds
Att: 52044
Other Results
Blackburn 2 - 2 Crystal Palace
Birmingham 0 - 0 Sunderland
Bolton 1 - 1 Tottenham
Charlton 1 - 1 Cardiff
Chelsea 4 - 1 Man City
Man Utd 4 - 0 Fulham
Portsmouth 2 - 3 Aston Villa Sunday 13th August 2006
Sundays Results
Newcastle 1 - 1 Middlesbough
Liverpool 0 - 2 Everton Wednesday 16th August 2006 Leeds United Vs Manchester United
Closet to a derby we'll get this year, Marques, Blake and Saha have picked up knocks and are replaced by Gregan, Fowler and Cresswell with Cimen moving onto the bench.
Both side had great chances to score but we got ours in the net and thats what mattered. A Man Utd corner was cleared well and found Fowler for us to launch a counter attack. Fowler crossed the ball into the center to find Maccarone who had little trouble beating Van Der Sar.
Our first 3 points in the premiership and they couldn't be sweeter, and infront of a soldout crowd. Leeds Utd 1 - 0 Man Utd
Att: 40,261
Other Results
Aston Villa 1 - 1 Newcastle
Cardiff 1 - 2 Arsenal
Crystal Palace 2 - 1 Portsmouth
Everton 1 - 0 Chelsea
Fulham 2 - 3 Liverpool
Man City 0 - 1 Bolton
Middlesbough 2 - 2 Birmingham
Sunderland 0 - 2 Charlton
Tottenham 2 - 0 Blackburn
So we sit 10th after 2 games but top is an impressive Everton side who have now too points from both Liverpool and Chelsea.
Meanwhile news is traveling round that Sir Alex Ferguson was not happy about the champions perfomance against us. Well Alex don't blame your team cause you gloated before match and lost
Next up on our Baptism of fire. Liverpool at Anfield

due to a buggy harchester patch messing up my game I'm going to have to give up this story.
The saves just won't load, so much for reinstalling your game doesn't effect your games.
I may start a new one but to be honest i doubt it |

Hopefully you'll get a chance to have a fresh start on this idea. It's so sad when those bloomin' patches mess up the games |
