Please state that Neil Weatherfeild is completle fictional and is not me, and has nothing to do with any of the industries mentioned. The name is random and i appoligise to anybody who has this name and feels i have taken their identity and made them look like a rich sucker.
June the first of 2005. News has surronded the business and football world, David Murray has sold Rangers FC. Murray put hard earnt cash into the club. Neil Weatherfeild has bought the club. Weatherfeild who is in the top 10 richest men in the world made his fortune by making wind farms. He also own 3 of Scotland's biggest oil feilds, and has a stake in gaming giants of football SI and SEGA. He was born in Edinburgh in April of 1971, and has always supported the club. He instantly appointed former player and legend to the footie world Paul Gascougne as Director of Football. Former Chirman David Murray also stays at the club and becomes the manageing director.
The third of June. Alex McLeish has resigned from the Rangers job. Eck had spent 3 and a half years previous at the club and had won 7 trophies. He said, "Me and Neil just dont get on, he wants european succsess. I am not the man to deliver that, Rangers needs sombody else for that."
July the first 2005. Neil Weatherfeild has not as yet appointed a manager but has signed former player Jorg Albertz to the club. Jorg has always loved the club and has said "My return has finnally came."
July the ninth 2005. Neil Weatherfeild has finnally appointed a new manager. Its taken over a month to do but its finnally happened. Although Donald Campbell has no reputation in the football world, Campbell was one of the men who worked high up for Weatherfeild's company. Infact was the second in command so they have no problems with communication. Campbell had completed his coaching badges 5 years ago, but never made it into management. Now 25 years old, Campbell was removed from his job to manage Rangers. He said, "I am a Rangers fan and to finnally get the chance to manage them is an houner. WOOOOHOOOO!!!"
Within hours of arriveing at Ibrox Campbell has made his mark. He has realeased over 3/4 of the team and the rest to leave once they are replaced. It just shows the huge transfer budget this year at Ibrox.
18th of July 2005. After days of being told by players they dont want to play for him, Donald Campbell has made his first signing. It comes in the form of 29 year old Az midfeilder Denny Zandzaat, however it wasnt a cheap signing at £15 million. Now only Denny can go out and prove hes worth the money.
The 20th July 2005. Rangers have confirmed Charles N'Zogbia's move north for £11.25mill. The young French man is a player for the future. Rangers hope to use him now as a key player and work him into a differnt class. Also they have signed former Malaga right back who is also 19 Alexis. Both the players are good and are likley to make long-term impacts at both the SPL and Champions league
Later on the same day, Sunderland fans are annoyed at thier manager. This comes after thier favorite Julio Arca makes the move to Glasgow. Rangers snapped up the player for £3.5 millions.
21st of July 2005. Donald Campbell has confirmed 2 more signings. They are Blackburn's Mokoena for £7.25 million. The 24 year old south african has already stated his desire to do well. The other is Ivory Coast international Didier Zokora who signs for £9.75 million.
26th of July 2005. At the end of a very dissapointing pre-season for the Ibrox club with a draw and a loss, no other friendlies as the manager was busy in transfer talks. Rangers have confirmed two more signings, The first is serbian defender Gavrancic, who signs for £6mill. The second is highly rated young PEru striker Jefferson farfan. He signs from PSV at the tone of £9.5 million.
27th July 2005. Rangers have splashed out yet more cash. Neil Weatherfeild has put £15.5 million into 21 year old Leece hitman Vucinic. He is rated as one of the worlds highest finnishers. Also signing for £6 millions is Russian skillman Arshavin from Zenith Peterburg.
28th of July '05. Rangers have spent £7.75 million on English goalie Robert Green. Green was unhappy at Norwich and England wanted him at a bigger club. Campbell wanted a new goalie and came calling. Green answered and has arrived in Glasgow at 8:30 this morning.
