Former Welsh U21 striker Matty Wulliams nets the 23 minute opener with Robert Gill striking in the first minute following the restart. Stalybride did contain the hosts throughout the rest of the match and kept the margin to 2-0/

Jamie Kay picks up a slight knock and may miss a couple of games.

Stalybridge 4 Burton 2 (Attendance 333)

Slobadan Zitface makes no less than 5 changes to the team that lost away at Hucknall. Burton fans are still upset over their relegation and were hoping for a good performance.

Zitface was forced to make 2 changes with the suspension of Hockenhull and the injury to kay.

An opening minute strike from David Graham set Stalybrdge on their way however it was Burton who lead up until the 66th minutes with 2 fine goals from Jon Law. Disaster then struck for the visitors as Graham adds his second, Binnion puts through his own net, then gets sent off and Gilroy misses a penalty. Ben Sanders adds Stalybridge's 4th on the final whistle.

Starting Line up: Norton, Sedgemore, Mortimer, Sheppherd, Hansen, Deakin, Davies, Howell, Ishmail, Graham, Sanders

Subs From: Pettinger, Atkins, Burns, Wilford, Hay
