Zitface takes his team to face struggling Spartak Tchelobinsk. Spartak joined Volgar with promotion but had failed to cope with the promotion unlike Slobadan's team.

Spartak provided a stern battle and Zitface's team were unable to break down the quite competent defense. Surprsingly the score was 0-0 but Slobadan must be happy with the result "We were under pressure from the whistle, they played with a game plan. Some of the players thought that this was going to be an easy game. Its shocking when we play so well against teams at the top of the table and fail to beat teams struggling. I don't think we've got it 100% right but we're not far off."

Visitors to our ground today are promotion rivals Khimki we are both on a 7 match unbeaten run.

We manage to scrape an unlikely 2-1 victory with our goals coming from Amirov and Bestaev. I notice Duwana in the executive box she waves, I wave back but thats it.

Has she gone off me? She hasn't called and I'm not going to chase her. She knows where I am. I know that sounds bad but the football is taking over my life. I'm not bothered I don't need a woman in my life but she is wonderful and it is nice to have a companion and the bonus thing is she's loaded.

Thanks guys, this ones the hardest to keep motivated with. I'm enjoying my Baggies story and the Senhouse who story is a slow starter (don't intend to stay there much longer. It's the concentration with the team and players names that I'm struggling with but its funny. Tryign to russle up a fascinating climax with Duwana Ride you'll have to wait and see.

LUCH ENDS VOLGAR'S RUN

Slobodan Zitface tastes defeat as mid table Luch ease to a comfortable 3-2 win against Volgar.

The match was fairly even until Volgar goalie Uzminskiy was shown his marching orders. The defeat leaves Volgar in 7th place with it all still to play for.

Duwana meets me on the team bus "Hi Slob, how you doing?"

I ignore her for a while and then reply "I'm ok, thanks a little disappointed tonight, we have lost to a mediocre team and we should have easily won, I don't want to talk about it"

"I'm sorry I haven't been around much, the business is booming and I've been really busy"

"It's ok, was beginning to think you had gone off me" I laughed.

"No chance there" She touches my leg and makes her way to the back of the coach

I smile to myself as we head back home. At least something came good out of tonight. I get to see Duwana at last, the last time I saw her seemed like a life time.

Volgar V Spartak Nalchick

Nalchick were struggling in 20th place on a winless run of 9 games. I was hoping that we would bounce back and obtain the 3 points, the press were convinced that our fine form would run out as we were performing well above our expected position.

A quick goal straight from kick off sets us up nicely with Autlev scoring. Morozov nets a 30 minute penalty and we are cruising.

We were unable to add any further goals, as we miss another penalty. The final score remains 2-0 we move up to 7th place and still in with a chance if we can keep up our good run.

I'd be in charge for 10 games won 6 of them, drew 3 and only lost 1. Not bad for an inexperienced boss. The reputation of Volgar is growing and I'm beginning to be noticed in the little town.

I phone Duwana after the game mobile is switched off, she must be busy with the business. I wonder what she does, she is so secretative.

Lockomotiv Chita 1 Volgar 2

We travel to Chita on a cold windy afternoon. The wind playing havoc with the coach and it must have been horrible for the coach journey. Chita were struggling in 19th and having a terible run of misfortune.

The lads were playing poker on the back seat and I get invited to have a game, its the first time since I became manager that they asked me to take part in anything. The lads night outs did not include me so this was good news. Maybe they appreciated the way things were going.

Following our 2-1 win and on the way home the mobile goes its Duwana. "What you want?" I ask. "Just thought I'd phone you to see how you got on" she replied.

"We won whats the difference there, things are going well"

"Yeah I know, very well indeed I'm impressed"

"Yeah right" I laugh. "Nothing impresses you Duwana"

"God whats wrong with you tonight Slobadan, you are being sharp with me"

"Its late, I'm tired, its been a hard day, we have won and I want a drink and thats a not drop on this bus"

"Oh...Thought I had done something wrong"

"Got a guilty conscious have you?"

"No, I think we need to talk..........I think I've fallen for you"

The conversation dries up.........It seems like minutes before she says something else. I'm jus dumbfounded.

"Did you hear what I said Slobadan.. I think I'm in love with you"

"Yes I heard you" the tone of my voice changes. "We do need to talk, I feel the same but we need to bring things out in the open, I'll phone you tomorrow"

The lads had been earwigging into the conversation "So who's the lucky lads boss?" "Your blushing mate".

I can't tell them who it is, not until we had talked things through. I fancied her big time, but something tells me its not going to be a simple relationship.

Luch V Volgar

Volgar move onto the next round following this 2-0 victory over rivals Luch.

A 17th minute strike from Botsiev opened the scoring. Zitface was forced to withdraw the goalscorer at half time and decided to bring Magzahanov on. Goal scoring hero Amirov scores Volgar's second and his 26th of the campaign in 33 appearances.

Volgar chairman was reportedly enthusiastic about the result "Great credit to Slobadan and the players this sort of performance makes you proud to be a Volgar fan"
