September Seventh, Brazil V Trinidad & Tobago Friendly

Although Lucio and Cafu had been red carded in the Ecuador game, their bans were for the World Cup qualifying games.
I decided to rotate the squad round a bit from the Ecuador game.

Brazil starting line up: Ceni Belletti Luisao Juan Roberto Carlos Juninho(C) Gilberto Silva Kaka Ze Roberto Rivaldo Ronaldo

I never got round to doing the match report but I recorded the goals.

It was a very entertaining match. We won 3-1 in the end. Rivaldo set up 2 of the goals, both of which Ronaldo scored. The third goal was scored by Ze Roberto. Carlos Edwards scored for Trinidad towards the end of the game.

Now that there was a month without matches, I would go and watch some more games in Europe and some games in the Brazilian league.

I looked on my calender and October was so close. It was September the 25th and I hadn't watched any new players.
I had made a list and decided the first player I would go to watch was Luis Fabiano.

I flew to Spain to watch Sevilla play Sociedad.
Sevilla had Fabiano, Adriano, Renato and Dani Alves all playing for them.
I sat in my seat at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium anticipating a good match.
Dani Alves played exceptionaly well. Going forward as much as possible.
Adriano was not quite as good and came off at half time.
Renato was average and Luis Fabiano did everything but score.
Sevilla lost 3-0. Dani Alves had a place in my next squad but I would have to look at the others again.

In France Cris was back in training for Lyon and was going to play against Real Madrid in their Champions League group game.
This match would give me the chance to watch Cacapa, Robinho and Cicinho as well. Or so I thought...
Ring ring.
"Hello."
"Hi Untitled, Ricardo in Brazil here. Cacapa has fractured his ribs and Robinho has the flu."
"Oh no. I wanted to watch them tonight as I have to name my squad soon." I said.

I went to the match and Cris impressed me. Ronaldo scored a wonder goal for Madrid.
Cicinho did nothing special and looked like he should be playing non league football.
I would have to watch the next leg in Spain in December to see Cacapa and Robinho. But now I had to return to Brazil for a quick look at Brazilian players before I named my squad.

Untitled User: I could win the World Cup with just Brazil based players

Untitled User has today warned other international managers that he could win the World Cup with just Brazil based players. He said that Brazil are blesssed with brilliant football players.
User also confirmed that the friendlys in Novemeber against U.A.E and Austrailia would be treated as 'b' internationals with the majority of players being based in Brazil.
But first there are the matches with Bolivia and Venezuela. User has hinted that his squad could contain one or two suprises. User was seen watching Flamengo play and is rumoured to of decided to include their striker Luizao in his next Brazil squad. Luizao has been in leathal form for Flamengo this season scoring 18 goals. Making him top scorer in the first division.
