26.12.03 Noisy Nabs Nemec
In an attempt to answer the spotty play of their keepers this season, Noisy-le-Sec signed Slovenian National keeper Dejan Nemec after he had been released by Club Brugge. It appears the signing underscores the current staff and fans unhappiness with young Jeremy Guy and veteran Jean-Marie Aubry- neither of whom have distinguished themselves with many good performances this season. Indeed, many fans feelings are that the club's success has come in spite of their poor work and not because of their contributions.

2.1.04 Noisy Bounces Boulila, Sandjak
Noisy-le-Sec announced the transfer sale of unhappy midfielders Kamel Boulila and Lounis Sandjak as the transfer window opened again. Boulila was sold to La Vitreenne for a reported 30K, with some of that money being paid in installments. Sandjak was sold for a reported 2K to Schiltigheim. Both had expressed their desire to leave Noisy-le-Sec due to not being featured in the regular starting lineup.

3.1.04 Noisy Seeks Sika-Sika
Apparently impressed by his early season showing against them, Noisy-le-Sec announced they had completed a transfer purchase agreement to bring Frejus Sika-Sika to Noisy for a reported 7K purchase price. Sika-Sika, an explosive 20 yr old FRLC, was pleased to come to a club that might allow him to play more than the handful of scattered appearences he made for Cherbourg.

10.1.04 Noisy-le-Sec (0) Beauvais (0)
Noisy-le-Sec- None
Beauvais- None
MOM- Pierrick Noel, Noisy-le-Sec The rust in our game was apparent as we failed to take advantage of good scoring chances and came away with only a draw against visiting Beauvais. It could well have been a loss, but Dejan Nemec proved our confidence in him was correct when he made a game saving stop on James Glenn Brown when he was in free in the last moments of the match. Our best chance saw Frejus Sika-Sika, who had come on for an ineffective Jadilson, fire a blast- but Loic Vincent pushed the shot over the bar. It wasn't the best result, but did seem fair given our periods of ineffective play.

17.1.04 Romorantin (2) Noisy-le-Sec (2)
Romorantin- T.Bouabdellah 17,37
Noisy-le-Sec- R.Ardeois 41-OG F.Sika-Sika 80
MOM- Daniel Prodan, Noisy-le-Sec We couldn't contain Tarek Bouabdellah in the first half and we had to fight back with a late goal to earn a 2-2 draw at Romorantin. Boauabdellah's frightening pace took its toll in the first goal as he simply outraced Kendal Ucar down the side and drove in before booming a rising shot past Dejan Nemec. His quickness led to the second goal as there was a scamble at the edge of the six yard box following a corner and Bouabdellah was first to reach the ball and hooked it into the net past a diving Nemec for his 2nd goal of the match. We managed to get one back before halftime when Christophe Lannoy smashed a shot off the crossbar and it bounced in off Romuald Ardeois as he tried to react to the bounceback. We came close several times in the second half but the equalizer was Frejus Sika-Sika's 1st goal for us as he was first to react when Ardeois parried Jean-Michel Capoue's hard shot and Sika-Sika rapped it into the net. If we had played the first half with the determination we showed in the second half- it would have been a win instead of a draw. |

24.1.04 Noisy-le-Sec (2) Wasquehal (1)
Noisy-le-Sec- P.Noel 2,71
Wasquehal- B.Seghiri 14
MOM- Pierrick Noel, Noisy-le-Sec In an important match Pierrick Noel stepped up and provided us with a huge lift as he led us to the 2-1 win. We struck for the lead in the opening moments when Patrice Ouerdi picked out Noel on a free kick and Noel had plenty of space to slash his shot past Alexander Vencel. They came back to even the match shortly after when Bark Seghiri outleaped Ouerdi and deflected a corner past Dejan Nemec. The match was a see-saw after that as both sides attacked up and down. Nemec made a pair of good saves to keep us even just before halftime and Vencel made a very good stop of Jadilson to keep things at 1-1 early in the second half. The match winning goal came when Mohamed Djouadi sent a sizzling through ball that put Noel in free on Vencel. Vencel challenged, but Pierrick took the ball around him and sent it into the open net for his 2nd goal of the match. We had to survive a free kick from the center of the edge of the area- it clanged back off the cross bar before we could clear it- and a close miss from Gael Hiroux in extra time to hang on for the close 2-1 victory. |

28.1.04 Sandjak Retires Immediately
36 yr old SC Llazid Sandjak walked out of the Noisy-le-Sec training facility yesterday and announced his immediate retirement. Sandjak, who had not made an appearence on the Senior side this season, told reporters that he was planning on going into coaching and thought this would be a good time to leave.

31.1.04 Ajaccio (1) Noisy-le-Sec (2)
Ajaccio- B.Ettori 71
Noisy-le-Sec- M.Benachour 13,49
MOM- Malik Benachour, Noisy-le-Sec I am pleased to report that our depth continues to make the difference in our matches. We called upon Malik Benachour to fill in for Kennedy (away playing for his home nation of Zimbabwe in the African Cup competition) and he was brilliant. He scored both goals as we managed to edge Ajaccio 2-1, though we outplayed them by a much larger margin than that. Benachour's 1st ever goal for us was a memorable one. Kendal Ucar played a long pass down the right side and Ajaccio keeper Davor Stojanovic came well out of the area to head the ball away. Benachour alertly picked up the loose ball and curled a 40 yard strike past Stojanovic as he tried to regain the net. Benachour's 2nd goal was a beautiful 25 yard free kick past Stojanovic. Despite all our pressure and chances, the home side worked their way back into the match when Ludovic Georges flicked a header over Ange Ouefio and that allowed Benjamin Ettori to pick up the pass and slot it inside the left post. We steadied defensively after yielding that goal and played solid football to finish out the close 2-1 win.

Rep Power: 0 | Noisy Suffers Injuries
In a double blow, Noisy-le-Sec today lost the services of two midfielders for long stretches. Kennedy, currently away with the Zimbabwe National side, suffered a training accident and will miss the next month with a fractured wrist. Olivier Dos Santos was also hurt and will miss the next three weeks recovering from a strained groin.

7.2.04 Noisy-le-Sec (3) Louhans (1)
Noisy-le-Sec- Jadilson 6,35 M.Benachour 19
Louhans- T.Kharif 80
MOM- Malik Benachour, Noisy-le-Sec Another important match for us, and again Malik Benachour came up big- as did most everyone on the club. Christophe Lannoy's sharp cross was perfect for Jadilson to volley off the inside of the right post to gain the early lead in the match. Pierrick Noel's hard work triggered the next goal as his hustling tackle started us down the pitch and his nicely timed pass was just right for Malik Benachour to wheel and blast past David Berthelot from a sharp angle. We took advantage of their captain- Jerome Erceau- making a bad choice as Jadilson intercepted his clearing pass and walked in before blasting past Berthelot into the far left side for his 10th goal of the season and 2nd of the match. We did yield a late consolation goal when Tarik Kharif made a looping header over Dejan Nemec for the final goal in our 3-1 win. We are now even with Brest atop the National as we travel to face them in Brest for our next match. |

14.2.04 Brest (2) Noisy-le-Sec (4)
Brest- L.David 2 O.Bogaczyk 55
Noisy-le-Sec- F.Cado 5-OG P.Noel 7,42,49
MOM- Pierrick Noel, Noisy-le-Sec It is with pleasure that I report you may find Noisy-le-Sec's name atop the table in the National following our 4-2 win over Brest. The match started poorly for us when Dejan Nemec missed a 30 yard shot from Laurent David. We rallied right away and were assisted when Frederic Cado tried to push a shot over the bar and instead misjudged where he was and pushed it in for us to equalize. Less than two minutes later we took the lead when Pierrick Noel began his onslaught. Christophe Lannoy broke free on the left and then slipped the ball to Mohamed Djouadi- who had moved up to join the play. Djouadi made a quick move in the area and then wisely crossed the ball. It sailed past Jadilson, but Pierrick Noel collected it and took it around a defender before slipping it under a diving Cado to give us the lead with his 10th goal of the season. Jadilson picked out Lannoy with a nice pass and Christophe lofted the ball back toward the center. Noel raced and reached it first for a half-volley past Cado for his 2nd goal. Sebastian Dailly was careless with his dribble in our end and Noel took the ball on the run. He raced all the way into their area and Cado- who tried to collect Noel's long dribble- was caught out as Noel reached the ball and chipped it past him to complete his hat-trick. We allowed them some hope when Olivier Bogaczyk made a strong header that got past Nemec, but Nemec made sure that hope was quenched as he made several superb saves to keep them from getting any closer as we finished with the 4-2 road win. |

21.2.04 Noisy-le-Sec (2) Reims (0)
Noisy-le-Sec- F.Sika-Sika 42 A.N'Koulou 76
Reims- None
MOM- Alain Richard N'Koulou, Noisy-le-Sec I was trying to rest some players for this match and we were fortunate to get a great performance from Jeremy Guy today- as he kept the sheet clean and we won a close 2-0 match over relegation contenders Reims. We struggled to get our passing working in the first half and Reims counterattacked with passion. Kwami Hodouto, starting because of the minor injury that kept Daniel Prodan out, continues to amaze me with his poor judgement. Not to mention that he quit on a couple plays- if I had a choice, he would be on the reserves and on his way out of here on transfer. With so little backline depth, I can't do that at this point- but this summer we will find alternatives. Guy kept coming up with big saves in the first half as our backline was porous in its defending- only Ange Ouefio showed good committment. We managed to take the lead though at half when Alain Richard N'Koulou flicked a ball that Frejus Sika-Sika was able to drive past Stephane Porato. Reims kept coming in waves to start the second half and Guy again foiled them. After Sika-Sika missed a penalty, I felt compelled to remove him. N'Koulou took advantage of being the lone forward and a lofted pass found him free on Porato and he took it around him to score to make it 2-0. Reims still had no loss of heart and we had to play staunch defense until the final whistle sounded on our 2-0 win. |

28.2.04 Pau (1) Noisy-le-Sec (0)
Pau- Oponga 77
Noisy-le-Sec- None
MOM- Dejan Nemec, Noisy-le-Sec We lost a very furiously played match at Pau thanks to a defensive mistake. Both clubs had plenty of chances- good chances- to score, but Dejan Nemec and Jacques Leglib were both having exceptional matches. Pau scored the only goal when Kendal Ucar missed a header that allowed Baghdad Yakhou to reach the ball with space on the left. Yakhou floated a centering pass that appeared to be going to Nicolas Sartolou. As our defenders challenged, the ball went over Sartolou and right to Oponga, who had jumped up into the play, and he half-volleyed the winner into the right side of the net. It was a disappointment, but I can not fault the effort of most of the club- just our execution. Kwami Hodouto had another terrible match, but Daniel Prodan should soon be ready to return from injury- to my relief. |
