Thank you Palermo07. I hope I do as great, but that's not gonna be easy.

Where did i go? To start it, we have to go couple of days back in time.

17th of November 2006

I sent an application few days ago to a club in France Second League. This club was named AC Cherbourg Football. On friday, I recieved an call. "Hello, mr Tanel Tursk, we are inviting you to Cherbourg to sign a contract with us," said a man who introduced him as a Gerard Cohel, Cherbourg chairman. I was ecstatic, but I answered: "Is it possible to delay the move byb a week. I need to finish off my last game in charge of Cork and also I've got couple things to arrange in Cork." He answered: "Sure... But could you already come to Cherbourg at Thursday, to set major things up there and talk about the contract." "No problem, I will come as soon as I can. Now, my training is starting, bye!" so I hang up after he answered to me.

22nd of November 2006

After I got all my things sorted out in Cork. I started my way by water. I put my department on sale, but that sale went quick as former chairman Brian Lennox, or technically Cork City football club, bought that from me with 10 000k pounds. That's the home of the next manager, who'se name I still don't know, but I'm following.

By the end of the day, I managed to reach Wales for the night and then stayed at a small bed and breakfast place there at Holyhead. I travelled by ship from Dublin. It was 100 km ship trip and it lasted around 5 hours so after that nowonder that I felt a bit sick.

23rd of November 2006

I started my way over Cambria mountains early in the morning because I wanted to be in Birminghan for the lunch time. I did that as after eating an very big lunch on some local Italian restaurant, I should have been at Portsmouth without being hungry. Just in case, I still took an small pizza with me. After an few hour ship trip from there. I managed to study alot about Cherbourg on my laptop, I read the facts of the players and also about the city itself.

After reaching the Cherbourg harbour, which is one of the most important in Le Manche. I could not tell you how beautiful the harbour was, since it was almost winter time, but what I saw from pictures, it was magnificient.

The city itself, based in north-France, Normandia, was very old (possibly built in 4th century A.D.). But the name "Cherbourg" was first mentioned just 1026 A.D., when Duke Richard II gifted an castle there to his future wife, but it was very probably there before. It became an very strategic place in Hundred Year War and it switched owners for 6 times. It was a stronghold then, but 1688, the defensive parts were undertaken. The town was the world's most important port in year 1944.

But in the harbour of an amazingly awesome city, the club's chairman Gerard Cohel was there. He was set to go with me to my new department. He was there by foot. (No wonder, this city is full of beautiful parks and stuff to watch) We sit into my Mercedes and drive into the southern part of the town where my department was in an very tight street. We went in and Cohel, who was very joyful and humoric man, gave me the keys. I set myself in, looked at the major things, then learned more about the city (where are the store's and stuff) and the club. I went to sleep at 11 PM.

24th of November 2006

I was welcomed warmly in the club training ground, where I had my contract talks. No press conference because the club was not very popular there, just an announcement, that was set to be on few papers tomorrow.

So we sat down, I shaked hands with my probable new assistant manager Jean-Marie Huriez ("A women?" - came to my mind) and also other important figures in the club - Roger Creteau and Jacques Largouët.

We started the contract talks, but they ended pretty shortly with a solution which will give you 5750k pounds p/m, which is 2000 less than in Cork, but that's no problem as the Transfer Budget 1,4 million pounds and wage budget 75k pounds. Though, there is a thing i have to tell - this club is also semi-professional.

I then went to meet the players, but we had some problems with the language, but some of the guys could speak english so they were set to tell everything to the other players.

Now it's good time to talk about the club. My new home-club's stadium is named Stade Maurice Postaire and has a capacity of 7k people. It has enormous problems this year and is placed last in the table with just 6 points from 16 games and sure I've got one hell of a job to do there. The next team is 9 point's away and relegation zone end is on 16 pts, but I will give my best and hopefully get an player named John O'Flynn in my team.

Short team anaylize:

Goalkeepers: I don't think there is much question who I'm gonna play, it's Jérémie Moreau who seems to be much better.

Defenders: That section isn't very strong it seems, but still it's probably our best place in squad. Few decent defenders I can find there.

Midfielders: The weakest section in my opinion. Not much creativity. I need to make it better in January transfer window.

Strikers: There seems to be only one man who can score there, that's why I need to bring on an certain former team-mate and a friend.

Overall: This squad at the moment seems to fit into my prefered 4-5-1 tactic aka 4-1-2-2-1.

Thank you Loeffle and axeman. Loeffle, laughing my ass of at "Varbarik", that would been Toecountry. Correct is "Vabariik".

24th of November 2006

Just after signing and doing my homework about the team, I had to put them into play. I did some important things, including promoting a young Ivory Coast striker Kabran Djedon into first team. Here is the line-up of my first match:

| Pkd | Inf | Name | Position | | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | GK | | Jérémie Moreau | GK | | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | DR | Yel | Yassine Moutaouakil| D/WB R | | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | DL | Yel | Ulrich Médard | D/WB L | | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | DC | Yel | Stéphane Sergent | SW, D C | | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | DC | | Papa N'Diaye | D C | | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | DMC | | Jérôme Frétard | DM | | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | MR | | Julian Palmiéri | M R | | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | ML | | Styves Morissette | AM L | | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | AMC | | Faed Arsène | ST | | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | AMC | | Idriss Ech Chergui | AM RL, F C | | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | FC | | Kabran Djedou | ST | | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | S1 | | Simon Feindouno | AM RC, F C | | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | S2 | Yel | Maxime Guinez | M C | | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | S3 | | Aurélien Boche | D/WB L | | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | S4 | | Mickaël Barré | D C | | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | S5 | | Florent Cabassud | GK | | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------|

French Second League, Week 17
Cherbourg 0:4 Guingamp

An very bad defeat. Though, players managed to create something, which was the only positive thing in the game. I really have to work hard with that team I think, because they look more like drunked people who pay to play.

1st of December 2006

I had an first away trip againist 15th placed Montpellier who I had offered my services few months ago. I hoped to show how good I am, but it was set to be an impossible thing. I was more hoping on january transfers.

French Second League, Week 18
Montpellier 2:0 Cherbourg

So not suprisingly, we had an awful game and eventually lost. Only player who managed to do something decent was GK. Game by game teams are moving away from us and the gap is now near 15 points with the relegation zone line.

3rd of December 2006

This morning had an real bunch on my career at Cherbourg. I managed to got myself very very drunk last time and I didn't really recover from it 100% and going for a training session with drinks in your head was not an good idea. After insulting the chairman's dog for ****ing on the goal post - I got sent off the training.

At the night, the chairman was really angry and said that I either start to behave like a grown-up man or go away, if I remember rightly. Anyway, I shouted something back at him and after hanging up the phone, I said to myself: "Another dog-lover, I wonder if he dresses him too?"

6th of December 2006

Some positive news game soon though. I got an call from beloved Ireland and I was told that I'm the manager of the month for November and also got another Manager of the Year award. To talk about the Irish guys, before I left, I talked with them and they really did not want to join me at Cherbourg, so I left them alone.

8th of December 2006

I had an home-match againist an strong Dijon, who suprisingly was 8th in the table. It was getting a bit frozin in Cherbourg and weather was like in start of the November in Estonia. I wanted to grab my first win againist Dijon. Though, I'm not getting alon with the players and the management very well. The reasons are ofcourse my lack of French, the dog incident and how I like to push all out of them. Between you and me, they are so damn lazy!

French Second League, Week 19
[ii]Cherbourg 0:0 Dijon[/i]

Atleast a point to secure my place a bit. Thanks again to our GK Moreau, he was just amazing between the post and bringed us a point in a game where we barely created anything.

16th of December 2006

It was my first big chance to win! Againist an unknown team named La Vitreenne away in French Cup. I went there with full squad just to make sure I won't fall out. The management was happy with the Dijon draw and so was I.

French Cup, 8th Round
La Vitreenne 0:3 Cherbourg (38. Idriss Ech Chergui, 62. Simon Feindouno, 89. Maxime Guinez)

Those names are so difficult, that I even ask players to wear name tags in trainings at the moment. I basically know them all, but I don't know their names. But it was nice to taste a win after month break, it was my 30th birthday.

17th of December 2006

The next round draw wasn't very good for us. We will play away againist Sochaux om 6th of January.

20th of December 2006

I had an a very though away match ahead on that day as we travelled to Lorient, who were 12th in the table. It was probable lose again, but I've done a lot of winter transfers which should make the situation better after the break, which started after this game.

French Second League, Week 20
Lorient 4:1 Cherbourg (81. Arassen Ragaven)

Only positive thing in the match was that we managed to score an first league goal under me. He (Ragaven) is from some African country, which name I could not remember.

For christmas, I promised that I learn the name of the players. But no-one laughed or even smiled. The room was full of fake smiles and I clearly saw that I was actually unwanted here.

I signed a lot new players. They will probably help the squad alot since it literally is awful. I added some strenght to defence, midfield and attack. Those sections could now fight for some away points too, not to talk about better games.

Transfers:

The fall-out between me and club is now very deep and I will very probably play the match againist Sochaux and then leave. I could not believe it! I called the chairman to ask the number of the club physio and he told me: "I don't know, I'm too busy to search it at the moment." I got ****ed off and replied: "If you're too lazy to take care of your own club, then no wonder this club is bottom of the league!" "This is now getting over the limits, first you insult my dog and now me," he said angrily and hanged up. "This guy is a lunatic," I said to myself.

I'm already looking for a new club.

6th of January 2007

I played my last match againist Sochaux in French Cup. I wanted to see how the new players will do and then push the pedal of my Mercedes and travel away from that beautiful city who has a club with an ignorant chairman. First impression lied to me.

French Cup, 9th Round
Sochaux 5:2 Cherbourg (78. Simon Feidouno, 79. Boubacar Balde)

That was an wonderful game and I think new manager will have a nice time in charge. There were alot of good signs, like we created around 5 chances againist an Ligue 1 team, which was nice. I announced about my resinging after the game.

7th of January 2007

I now travelled away from Cherbourg. By the end of the day - I was in Berlin where we met with an mysterious man to talk about my new job. It is shocking appointment, which, if we agree, will be announced on 10th of January.
