A striker named John O'Flynn wrote his name into the history book of Cork City! We are the champions! After the crowd heard about the result at Shelbourne game (2:2) they went mad! John O'Flynn <- amazing striker. As I said before, he will be coming with me when I move away. Great player. The first title for Cork since 1993! We wanted to return to Cork as quickly as possible to party there! We reached Cork at the night and there were like 100 000 people to cheer for us. That said us what a great achievment it was. The party was mad and I think Lennox bought the team a lot of stuff. That's my gift to the Cork City. Because there will probably be another title under me, unless I rejoin when im 60.
I really got excited and and could not wait for this to happen in the story and now your at a massive club im sure so many readers would love to see you reward o'flynn for what he did 4 u and he's a good friend of yours! You say he's out of form and gone down hill but thats cos your not his manager anymore! I reckon at inter with there great training facilities and a few games under his belt in the reserves he would ressurect his career!! if not with you you could sell him on after kick starting his career! I am now starting a MOVEMENT and petition to get oflynn back! By the way are you playing this game currently? meaning you play and then come on here to write the next part of the story?

Our opponent in UEFA Cup 1st round was drawed and it will be Swiss outfit Young Boys with my ex-player Abdul Haouli from Willem II. 26th of August 2012
Finally the big day arrived. I was in side of the pitch to coach my team in my first ever Serie A match. It was in front of full house Giuseppe Meazza againist one of title contenders Lazio. I bought their player Marco Loddi in summer, but unfortunately he was banned and couldn't play in Week 1 match, but Erminio Rullo had shown himself as good player in Intertoto matches so I wasn't really worried. I also faced a though call who to play in attack as Adriano's partner. I picked new guy Gianpaolo Pazzini over Oba Martins.
Italian Serie A, Week 1 Inter 2:0 Lazio (16. pen. Leo Messi, 90. Adriano)
Very promising start to our Serie A season. We played almost brilliant match and it could've been 3:0 or 4:0 if there wasn't a certain Igor Akinfeev in Lazio's goal. Anyway, I was very happy with the penalty goal, since it was earned by Pazzini and converted by other summer signing Messi. Though summer signins are really low at competitive match fitness as they couldn't play in Intertoto. Lot of them looked like dead meet after match 28th of August 2012
I had to do another signing. I didn't have no back-up for right-back and therefore I signed Carmelo Carioti on one year deal for 4,4 millions from Basel. He's Swiss and is 28-years old. 29th of August 2012
In week 2 Serie A game we had to meet Livorno away from home. They weren't really good outfit and didn't have any great player in their ranks, but I didn't know how we would do in Serie A away game yet. Loddi came back and was set to play in left-back position.
Italian Serie A, Week 2 Livorno 1:2 Inter (24., 39. Adriano)
Adriano's start to the new Serie A season has been amazing with 3 goals in his name after 2 games. We played another good match and that goal we conceeded was a bit unlucky in last minutes of the game. Anyway, season ahead looks very promising, but Juventus and Milan doesen't want to give up either. Both have 6 points just like me. 30th of August 2012
I recieved a suprise call few days ago. It was a friend from past - John O'Flynn. He said Shelbourne placed him into transfer list and he desperately needs help on getting new club. So I promised to help him. Since Shelbourne b*tches didn't play him at all for like 2 seasons and barely gave him games before that it was hard to find a new club for him. I decided to do something extra-ordinary. He didn't want to come to Cherbourg earlier and I had forgotten that promise I made back in Cork days, so I decided to make it up. I signed him from Shelbourne for 10k. He was a star back in those days and raised into legend in Cork fans until he moved to Shelbourne who ruined his career. We've been good friends and I decided to help his career back in track after giving him some nice trainings in Inter. He's 30-years old and a striker. 8th of September 2012
John O'Flynn wasn't picked for match againist Torino in Serie A though. Instead I started with Adriano - Pazzini striking partnership yet again. I had no injuries except Carl Medjani who was supposed to be my starting centre-back earlier in the season, but got overshadowed by Leandro Gioda who was set to be 3rd choice behind Emanuele La Rocca and Medjani.
Italian Serie A, Week 3 Torino 0:2 Inter (1. Gianpaolo Pazzini, 69. Graziano Pelle)
So our strikers who we signed in summer scored their firsts goals for the club and we got another convincing away victory to confirm that we are strong title contenders this season. Pelle scored a very nice goal. The table still looks the same. Inter 9, Milan 9 & Juventus 9.

Next ahead were European adventure. We drove over the Alps to go meet the Swiss team Young Boys. I decided that I will rest some players since I had Serie A game ahead of me just in 2 days time. So I put on almost entirely new midfield and attack. Defence was same and so was goalkeeper (Gianluca Curci).
UEFA Cup 1st Round, Leg 1 Young Boys 1:4 Inter (6., 36. Obafemi Martins, 57. Arjen Robben, 76. Graziano Pelle)
Very nice win and we are 99% through to the next round. Pelle really has had a good start to his Inter career and Martins is unstopable in European games. About Robben, he has really got off to a good start in Inter being amongst the best in every games and he also notched up his first man of the match award on Thursday. 15th of September 2012
So next up was Sampdoria in front of home fans. Giuseppe Meazza was almost packed up again, with just around 4000 vacant seats. I decided to pick Martins as Adriano's partner this time as he was great in UEFA Cup. Though, Dejan Stankovic got his first Serie A start of the season, since he was also impressing in European game. Medjani was still injuried.
Italian Serie A, Week 4 Inter 2:0 Sampdoria (40. Obafemi Martins, 79. Adriano)
4 wins out of 4 and just 1 goal conceeded in all games is almost perfect start. And we finally got our leader position as Milan and Juventus had a draw in their game between eachothher. Oba proved why I picked him first, but Adriano showed that he will be a vital player if we want to win Serie A. 19th of September 2012
Next up was another away game in league. We travelled to struggling Udinese. Due to Oba getting a slight knock in Sampdoria game, I played Gianpaolo Pazzini as starter. Medjani was still injuried and Stankovic took back his place in bench as left winger Martins returned to starting line-up.
Italian Serie A, Week 5 Udinese 0:2 Inter (45., 47. Adriano)
Adriano rised to first place in goalscorers chart as we got another win. Though what is funny that we have scored no more or less than 2 goals in every one of our Serie A matches. We are still topping the table and Milan and Juventus are right behind us. 22nd of September 2012
Bologna's manager Giovanni Vavassori said that he's team will beat us in battle at Giuseppe Meazza and crush our winning run. Though I instead stayed calm and stated that he's a great coach and wished Bologna good luck for the season. But I was more than sure we'll win this game. I used the same line-up as I did againist Udinese.
Italian Serie A, Week 6 Inter 4:0 Bologna (43. Gianpaolo Pazzini, 75., 79., 85. Obafemi Martins)
Substituion Obafemi Martins made my life "harder" again. He once again proved how hard for me is to choose players. I've got 3 strikers who are all good enough to start, 3 support strikers (Messi, Poujol & Volpato), 3 wingers for 2 places (Robben, Martins, Stankovic), 2 central midfielders (De Rossi, Fiore) & three centre-backs (Medjani, Gioda, La Rocca). Only full-backs and goalkeeper are certain choice. Though, I've got 2 great back-ups at left-wing and my 2nd choice goalkeeper isn't very weak either. Though I tend to prefer Adriano & Pazzini at two foward positions and Messi in support striker situation. In central midfield I play Daniele De Rossi because he's defensive abilities are better than Pasquale Fiore's. At wings I usually play Martins & Robben, because they are younger. And centre-backs are La Rocca and Gioda. Pretty much thanks to Medjani's long injury, though he gets a chance to win he's place back soon. Bad news came after the match - our right-back Carlos Mango got a slight injury and may miss my next two games. He's been brilliant this season.

| I believe he should feature for 4-5 this season in first team. Atleast on bench in Coppa Italia & weaker teams in Serie A.
Though his abilities have really gone bad. Therefore, we can go to history once again:
George O'Gallaghan was the first to start to go there. Every step he made, my heart started pumpin, finally I couldn't stand there just watching, I shouted: "GEORGE, LET'S BEAT THOSE BASTARDS!"
(27th of May 2006)
My first win againist Shelbourne in All-Ireland Cup Final in penalty shootout.

I had to finish my job in UEFA Cup againist Young Boys and I decided to give second choice players a chance to shine. I started only few starters. Even Curci was on bench as Danilo Russo got his first match of the season.
UEFA Cup 1st Round, Leg 2 Inter 1:0 Young Boys (14. Martins)
It was a nice win and I'm not sad that we ruined loads of goals, since I barely care about this cup. Anyway, t he things are getting a bit more interesting now as our group will be Newcastle (England), Austra Wien (Austria), Braga (Portugal) & Zeta (Serbia & Montenegro). 30th of September 2012
In Serie A game before going to international break we played Brescia. I had all players fit and well, so I was hoping for a nice result from this away game. Despite winning at Young Boys, none of the bench players proved that they should deserve a first team place so I picked the same players that I do usually in Serie A games.
Italian Serie A, Week 7 Brescia 0:3 Inter (27., 32. Adriano, 39. Arjen Robben)
A very nice win and another clean-sheet. Robben scored a brilliant goal as he dribbled past 3 defenders before slotting it home 10 meters from goal. Though, I wanted one or two goals in second half also, but 7 wins from 7 is just great start. 18th of October 2012
My weekend's Serie A game was rearranged to 7th of November thanks to international call-ups that also made me miss lot of my players for the first UEFA Cup group-stage much. I didn't have big South-American stars as I travelled to Austria to meet Austria Wien.
UEFA Cup Groupstage, Matchday 1 Austria Wien 2:0 Inter
Very suprising display. We really missed defender Leandro Gioda in defence and I would've loved to bring Adriano on in second half since our strikers had the first sucky game of the season. We had 22 shots on goal and couldn't score even one. That made sure I won't be using my Second XI in Europe anymore. 21st of October 2012
A big game was in Sunday night. We met Roma who was 4th away at Olimpico. Our South-American stars returned. Though one of them with injury and that was our weakest link in team when looking at back-up. It was my right-back Carlos Mango, who had been brilliant this season and I had to put in my little Swiss last-minute buy Carmelo Carioti.
Italian Serie A, Week 8 Roma 1:3 Inter (36. Adriano, 57. pen. Gianpaolo Pazzini, 90. Graziano Pelle)
So we got another confirmation about being strong Scudetto contenders as we clearly beat Roma at their own place. And strikers turned their fortunes around when comparing to Austrian match. Very nice goals, espescially from Adriano who gave the two assists also. Though I'm not very happy with the goal we conceeded since it was awful bad from our defence, who were lost for a second and Roma player had a empty goal infront of him.

Rep Power: 0 | Thank you very much Ville Valo. It hasn't been as easy as it seems since I've got loads of headaches and some stuff have really fell into my hands sometimes. 24th of October 2012
In my next Serie A game I met relegation strugglers Chievo in their home. Ofcourse I was planning for a nice win, though Carlos Mango wasn't back yet and that made me a bit worried in case our strikers would have a bad day.
Italian Serie A, Week 9 Chievo 1:2 Inter (50., 81. Arjen Robben)
Arjen Robben became a hero this time. He's performances this season have been brilliant and that game was a proof of his power. Great dribbles, great crosses, great goals and so on. In Serie A he has been our best midfielder by a long distance. (Though statistically Martins is better thanks to Intertoto matches) He is very happy on his unnatural position right winger and I and rest of the team has a good chemistry with him. 28th of October 2012
Derby was up in just weeks time and you could feel the pressure already as we had Cagliari at home. It wasn't the main test before Milan though. Carlos Mango returned to defence that had conceeded 2 goals in last 2 matches and I could feel comfortable again.
Italian Serie A, Week 10 Inter 5:0 Cagliari (26. Arjen Robben, 58., 67. Gianpaolo Pazzini, 75. Adriano, 78. Löic Poujol)
Great match from the lads. We made Cagliari look like fools and I'm very happy with goalscorers. Robben proved his great form once again, Pazzini's has got his goalscoring touch back, Poujol did a nice job coming off from bench and Adriano maintained his Serie A top-scorer position. We also got a nice clean-sheet so our defence is back on track with Mango and it really looked rock solid. 1st of November 2012
So the main test before Milan was Newcastle. In another home match, we had to win to save team from embarassement in Europe. I picked all the best players since I wanted to reach as far as possible in that competition. Though I will do some small rotating with easier opponents or when I'm leading with a big scoreline.
UEFA Cup Groupstage, Matchday 2 Inter 3:0 Newcastle (52., 82. Adriano, 78. Dejan Stankovic)
So yet again we owned our opponents in a great match. It was a sign that we're in great form for the derby and with games againist Portugese side Braga and Serbian side Zeta ahead, we're pretty much in the next round since unless Austria Wien strikers bad day repeats itself, we should win them with ease.

From Channel4.com Quote: Tursk excited before derby
Inter manager & fan Tanel Tursk is having his first ever Milano derby to be in charge of. It's a big match for him anyway and the fact that win in this game will clearly give him a great chance for Scudetto makes him even more nervous and excited.
It's a fight between two big ones as two teams are dominating the Serie A by a mile. After 10 games, Inter has only wins and just 3 goals conceeded with the best attacking record in the league while Milan is 2 points behind with 9 wins and a draw and is yet to conceed a goal.
He was asked about Milan defence after game againist Newcastle and Estonian stated, "This record will be broken on Sunday. They've got great players and defence and goalkeeper and they deserved their two consecutive titles, but it's about time for Inter to do something. Win in derby would give us the best cards for win."
"Adriano is the most important player in this team for sure, but we've got team full of great players. Including Adriano's attacking partner Gianpaolo Pazzini who is in great form lately", he answered towards question about Il Imperatore, "not to talk about Arjen Robben or other players lately. If we'll win againist Milan, it will be team's victory and we're determined to do well."
When he had to question is Inter ready for Scudetto, Tursk said they are.
"What has been changed with the past is the determination. I've got around 25 players who want to play and who want to do good."
Milano derby will be held on 4th of November at 8:30 PM local time.

From Inter.it Quote: 23-man squad called up for Milan
Tursk announced his squad for Sundays game againist Milan. Goalkeepers
Gianluca Curci, Danilo Russo, Marco De Angelis Defenders
Carlos Mango, Carmelo Carioti, Carl Medjani, Emanuele La Rocca, Leandro Gioda, Walter Samuel, Erminio Rullo, Marco Luddi Midfielders
Arjen Robben, Dejan Stankovic, Martins, Pasquale Fiore, Daniele De Rossi, Leo Messi, Löic Poujol, Rey Volpato Fowards
Adriano, Gianpaolo Pazzini, Obafemi Martins, Graziano Pelle
| 4th of November 2012
So it was the big day. In Serie A's Week 11 I didn't doubt who to put on at the start and my line-up was:
Curci
Mango - La Rocca - Gioda - Luddi
De Rossi
Robben - Martins
Messi
Adriano - Pazzini
Players were happy with that choice since this line-up was our main one this season and had brought us loads of victories. This wasn't the first time for me to step into packed-up Giuseppe Meazza since I had full support againist Lazio also. Though this time it was different. Chants, banners, coreographics. The atmostphere was something out of this world. Both Curva's were crazy with their current season and win in this match was more than important. Since it was the home game, they were playing "Pazza Inter" in the start and I sang along. We needed that crazy Inter on pitch. Before the game had started, I looked at fans. It was them who deserved to win title this season. But before I could go away to dreamlands, referee Gianluca Paparesta opened the game. First Half
It was interesting half. We looked a bit clumsy in first 20 minutes and Milan waisted 2 great chances under Curva Sud and that even filled up the excitment in this game. Milan players won balls from our defenders twice, but in the first time it was Curci to grab the ball under the nose of Maxi Lopez and the second time our defence got back in time to tackle the ball away. Then we took the game into Milan's half. Some chances game, but none of them was must score and we couldn't get the ball past Sebastien Frey, despite hitting crossbar once. Inter 0-0 Milan Second Half
Inter didn't lose their domination. Milan was pushed into corner and Pazzini recieved a free-kick from 30 yards or so. It was Adriano's place and soon the fans at Curva Nord were cheering. Frey couldn't save it, perfect shot from Il Imperatore. Who sarcastically celebrated in front of Milan fans. Yet this wasn't the end.
Before I could do my substitions, Inter had another free-kick, just from the edge of the area. Same man stepped up, but he's kick was saved. Saved, but into the foot of Gianpaolo Pazzini. Italian international was ruthless. Sent the ball into empty net and it was almost sure - Milan is beatten. Even Gianluca Curci ran all the way down the pitch to celebrate.
I had made my substitions but I couldn't bring off my magical attacking duo. Insted I changed my left winger as life-time Interista Erminio Rullo game on and another Interista came on in shape of Pasquale Fiore as he replaced Daniele De Rossi. This proved off to be a great move. Rullo sent in a cross and Adriano got the ball and he had just Frey to beat. Milan's great defence was nowhere and Adriano scored his 12th Serie A goal of the season. He kissed the badge of Inter and ran to Curva Nord to celebrate the great day. Inter 3:0 Milan (55., 75. Adriano, 66. Pazzini)
From Goal.com Quote: Inter enjoy big derby victory
Milan defence that hadn't let in any goals in Serie A this season was destroyed by Inter in Milano derby. Adriano's & Pazzini's goals made the final scoreline embarassing for Rossoneri. Match ended with a 3:0 win for Inter.
"We did absolutely brilliant today. Except those first minutes off the game, Milan was in the corner and we showed them who's the boss at the moment. Adriano was awesome tonight and so were rest of the players," said manager Tanel Tursk.
"This victory is for fans and we want to build a title on this. 11 wins out of 11 games is great achievement," Tursk mentioned the goal of the current season.
Milan defence hadn't let in any goals this season, but that changed today. "Inter was too hard keep under control for our players," admitted Milan manager Frank Rijkaard. "They are clearly favourites to win the title and they proved that today. We will try to compete with them, but it won't be easy."
