Thanks to both of you. Sorry I didn't update. I'm too depressed about Inter's defeat. 22nd of April 2012
We wanted to bounce back from those two ugly-ugly defeats as we faced an "easy" game at weekend againist MVV who weren't having a brilliant season. I decided to make couple of changes in first team squad and Willem Janssen started in place of Jaime Valdes as attacking midfielder.
Dutch Premier Division, Week 30 Willem II 6:1 MVV (3., 33., 34., 39. Cengizhan Topal, 26., 50. Willem Janssen)
It was completly opposite match. First half performance was just brilliant but we're yet to learn how to make two equally good half's. Anyway, my changes in the team squad justified itself and Janssen scored a double. And when Topal gets himself going in the match, he's unstopable.
But those are not the big news. Willem II are champions as Ajax drawed with PSV at home! The title was 5th ever for Willem II and the night after we really celebrated mad and up from now on, we just had to make sure we will finish the season as proud as we've played. 25th of April 2012
So we hoped not to get embarrassed in München as I choosed a bit mediocore squad to play againist Bayern who won 4:0 in first leg. As said before, they are favourites to win CL, but their probable opponent Chelsea will be a though nut to crack.
Champions League Semi-Final, Leg 2 Bayern 2:0 Willem II
So our amazing Champions Leage adventure ended with a six-nil aggregate loss. But to count out that home game, I believe we made ourselves proud and we showed that Dutch football is showing some good signs for the future. 29th of April 2012
We faced another league trip as we met FC Twente away from home. I put on our first team line-up despite title being secured as I wanted to set some records in the league.
Dutch Premier Division, Week 31 FC Twente 1:1 Willem II (13. Jonas van Hooydonck)
It was undeserved defeat as we should've scored millions more, but their goalkeeper was pure class. van Hooydonck scored an great goal though. Bomber from the edge of the area that landed in the far corner of the goal. 6th of May 2012
Another new month started and we were so close to end the season now. We hoped to entertrain home fans againist Roda JC. I put on almost the same lune-up, but without Tarik Zitouni who is injuried for a month and won't play the last games of the season either.
Dutch Premier Division, Week 32 Willem II 4:2 Roda JC (16. Gaetano D'Agostino, 44., 69., 81. Jonas van Hooydonck)
This time, Jonas was our big star though it will be hard to catch the first place in goalscorers table as Groningens striker van der Bizzen or whoever it was has been brilliant this season and already has 24 league goals. Though Jonas van Hooydonck isn't far away I doubt he's going to score 2 hat-tricks since he's opponent will probably score few himself too.

We had 2 away games for the end of the season. First one was in Nijmegen againist local club NEC. I picked Paul Peters to start and gave Topal a day off. Tarik Zitouni was still out.
Dutch Premier Division, Week 33 NEC 0:2 Willem II (10. Willem Janssen, 69. Michele Canini)
An nice away win and the gap between me and Ajax will be enormous in the end of the season as Ajax is very off-mood at the moment and is losing/drawing all the time. Anyway, we could've scored much more just like always, but also just like always, we still won. 20th of May 2012
So on sunny Sunday, we ended our season in Rotterdam. We played againist local club Sparta. We refused to take the title yet since we asked league to do it in town center of Tilburg. 5th title is a big celebration and the moment we'll get back to Tilburg it will be big party.
Dutch Premier Division, Week 34 Sparta 2:2 Willem II (13., 84. Jonas van Hooydonck)
Jonas was close to become top scorer, but should've scored 2 more goals. Or atleast one to get on level. Though we played a really nice game and I'm happy with how we ended our season. Sparta only had a bit of second half where they scored 2 goals. 21st of May 2012
From Voetbal.nl Quote:
Willem II celebrated 5th league title
Around 30 000 Willem II Tilburg fans gathered around into town center of Tilburg to see club handed over their 5th title after last game of the season.
Players stepped into the podium one by one, getting medalst, it was just like Champions League final. Something incredible had happened with the fans. 3 years ago they were fighting for relegation, now, they're 2 times consecutive champions from the moment captain Paul Verghaegh lifted up the trophy on Sunday night.
It was milestone title for Willem II, their 5th one celebrated the era of great achievements for the club, era that may never come again after will lost 3 of their key mans in summer. But that wasn't in no-ones mind that night. Everybody was celebrating, free drinks for the club's offical fan pub and so on.
2 league titles, Champions League semi-final, it is a big doubt that the event will repeat himself, but the legacy built on those 2,5 years that their manager Tursk spent in this club is enormous. Now it matters on new manager to make it work again. Even without players like Leroy Fer and Artur Kotenko.
Tursk said on brief press conference that his future is almost decided, but didn't gave any information. "I'm negotiating with a club that most people know. I can't reject their offer and I've already talked with Willem II management and they know what I feel. It was great joy being here and I will surely keep my eye on this club. You'll never know, I may come back one day," he said.
It's believed that he's negotiating with a club from Italy, but nothing in exact isn't revelead yet. "But tonight, I celebrate with my wife and players and their relatives," said Tursk in the end.

It's been a while since anything big have been going on in my home, but now we're packing bags and whole new country, whole new culture, whole new people are ahead of us.
"Maria, we're moving tomorrow. If everything goes well."
- "Lovely. Living in Italy should be great."
"Yes. For first nights we will be in a hotel, though I'll try to get a house somewhere near lake Como."
- "Lovely news. It should be beautiful there, though it may be very cold in winter..."
"You're Russian. What should cold do to you? That isn't that cold. You can go skiing or whatever. Alps are near. There shouldn't be no problem. Though we could get a house shout from Milano also."
- "No, no. I'm okay with it. Lake Como should be great place to live."
"Yes. I've got a meeting with Inter guys and Willem II board."
- "I hope everything goes great! I know it's your lifetime dream."
"Thank you. I shall go now anyway. You pack the last stuff."
- "Good luck! Bye honey."
So we had a little kiss and I took my suitcase and off I was. Massimo Moratti was waiting there for me. It went well, Massimo was willing to pay Willem II a 2 million pound compensation to get my signature since I had one season remaining in my contract. Later on we talked with Massimo about my plans and things like that. Inter is yet to win anything big for more than 20 years and it had to be changed. He later went off to his hotel before I got home and started putting things on a big truck that was going to take our stuff to our new home if we've bought it. 24th of May 2012
So we rushed off to Milano. I was in airport a hour before the flight to make sure I won't be late. Moratti joined me few minutes before we set off. We had bought business class tickets. 30th of May 2012
That day I was offically announced Inter's manager. We agreed on 140 000 pounds per month wage for me. I already had my house in lake Como settled, which wasn't far away from Milano.
From Gazzetta.it Quote:
Inter hire another boss, but an Interista
Inter stepped another step towards Scudetto. They hired an Inter fan to manage their club. Today Estonian Tanel Tursk became 15th coach under Moratti era.
"I've supported Inter for a very very long time and it's depressing to watch it going like this season by season," said Tursk on press conference. "I'm have to face months of hard work. It's sad that we have fallen so deep that we have to play Intertoto games this season, but I'm sure it won't be a big problem and we're get into UEFA Cup through it. I also plan to get a title, but Champions League place wouldn't be very bad in our current situation either," explained Tursk about season ahead of him.
"Today means a world to me. I wanted to get into big team football, but to get to a club which I've supported since I was a child is amazing. My feelings aren't still very clear. I want to use my love towards Inter to make players play better," he said, "Massimo Moratti is a great man. He said to me that the moment he saw the line I support Inter in my CV he wanted to talk with me. He was a nice guy and he didn't deserve what was going on around here. So was Giacinto Facchetti who I also met in Milano."
Tursk has had a succesful career after managing Ireland outfit Cork City to big success in Ireland island, taking Valenciennes to Ligue 1 from Ligue 2 in France and most latest is heroics in Holland that took Willem II into two consecutive league titles and a semi-final place in Champions League.
Also he is well known for Italians after he managed Russia in their 2008 European Championsship campaign where they managed to get themself through to the EC while being in helpless situation. They played in same group with Italy and also got kicked out in EC quarterfinals by Italy and later on, Italy made Tursk resign after embarassing result in start of World Cup campaign.
About new players Tursk replied, "I will keep most of the current players, but it's no secret that this summer we'll see one of the, if not just the, biggest ever spending in history of football. Names are secrets at the moment."
See the whole press-conference here.

Some more past. The biggest rising club in European clubs charts was no-one else than Willem II. From 165th to 75th! I sent my congratulations to Willem II board. 1st of July 2012
So the big spending started with more than 100 million pounds on that day sent out on wide world. I also sold few players. Esteban Cambiasso signed for Barcelona, while Brazilian striker Soares had a deal with Dortmund and goalkeeper Carlos Idriss Kameni went off to Sevilla.
The biggest transfer of the day was obviously signing of Italian NT striker Giampaolo Pazzini. He was one of many Italians signing. He came for incredible 44 million pounds fee from Everton. NT no. 1 striker has had a great career and is 27-years old.
Next big name was attacking midfield Leo Messi who has a soft spot for Inter. He came for 20 million pounds from Dortmund and is just 25-years old. He will probably take a place behind our two strikers who are playing in a game. Unless someone is better than him. Graziano Pelle was another signing of "Project: Italianazionale". 26-year old striker had spent his whole career in Lecce and was sad to leave those fans behind, but also hoped they could understand his move. What fans did and also Ultra's went to sent him off with a banner "Grazie Graziano!"
We also signed a defender. It was Emanuele La Rocca from Parma. Centre-back is set to be a first-teamer and cost us 8,5 million pounds. He's just 23-years old and even when he don't perform from the start, he's set to be a big name for us.
Another Italian joining was NT 2nd choice goalkeeper, but that was going to change soon. Gianluca Curci came from Roma for 12,25 million pounds and is just 26-years old while guy ahead of him, Buffon, is set to retire in few years. Danilo Russo is next choice behind Curci in national team and the same situation will repeat in Inter as we signed a 24-year old goalkeeper from Cagliari for just 4 million. He has a lot of talent and we hope he reveals it in a fight for first team place.
The last signing of the day was Italian NT's defensive midfielder, 28-year old Daniele De Rossi. He's set to play a very important part in my tactics as he has to be at his best to prevent us from conceeding too much goals. 8th of July 2012
But then we had a giant transfer ahead of us. For one of world's biggest fees ever, Inter signed 27-year old Dutch winger Arjen Robben from Chelsea. Robben costed us 59 million pounds and hopefully will play good in our right wing, where we have a little hole. 9th of July 2012
Probably last signing of summer came on 9th of July. For another giant fee, we signed Italian NT left-back Marco Luddi. 24-year old is one of most promising Europeans around and he was wanted by most of European big clubs, but a 30 million transfer fee sent everyone except Inter off. He will probably play in left-back unless Giovanni Pasquale plays better than him.

Rep Power: 0 | Thanks both of you. Loeffle, your mr. Europe wasn't an insult at my favourite club. Wasn't it? But cruiseylee, John's career has gone downwards. I doubt he's even playing anymore. Shelbourne got a new manager soon after he joined and that didn't want to play him. But Shelbourne is really in big trouble this season, but Cork may take the title for the 2nd or 3rd time since I left. I'm not sure. 14th of July 2012 -> 22nd of August 2012 "Intertoto"
We couldn't have any of this summers buys at our squad for Intertoto matches as we had to register players night before 1st of July. Inter 8-1 Lokomotivi Tbilsi
14th of July 2012; 3rd Round; 1st Leg - Inter 3:1 Lokomotivi Tbilsi (7., 20. Obafemi Martins, 17. Carlos Mango)
21st of July 2012; 3rd Round; 2nd Leg - Lokomotivi Tbilsi 0:5 Inter (7. Adriano, 9. Dejan Stankovic, 72. Rey Volpato, 79. Obafemi Martins, 90. Carlos Mango)
We had them in our pocket and that away game was really nice. Though, we should've done more in the first leg match at home where we stopped after scoring 2nd goal in 20th minute. Inter 5:2 Monaco
25th of July 2012; Semi-Final; 1st Leg; Inter 0:0 Monaco
1st of August 2012; Semi-Final; 2nd Leg; Monaco 2:5 Inter (10., 15. Adriano, 47., 79. Obafemi Martins, 76. Rey Volpato)
Another great away performance got us through. Though the home performance was very bad. At away match we were just great. Espescially attack wise. Oba already has 5 goals this season with 3 matches and Adriano has 3 from 3. Inter 5:3 Middlesbrough
8th of August 2012; Final; 1st Leg; Inter 2:3 Middlesbrough (55., 61. Adriano)
22nd of August 2012; Final; 2nd Leg; Middlesbrough 0:3 Inter (1., 81. 86. Obafemi Martins)
Grance Oba & Grande Adri! We didn't deserve to lose the home leg as I managed to use wrong 17-year old goalkeeper in that game. Both of my keepers avaible were just 17 years old! One of them was brilliant, but the other sucked monkey balls in his only appearance. Though the second leg was another joy to watch as we toyplayed with them and with 6 games, we had scored 18 goals! Oba had 8 on his name, Adriano had 5, Rey Volpato & Carlos Mango (Right-back) 2 and some others had one.
