As for the categories: so far, the main discussion (most of it earlier this year) centered around the scrapping of Best Title and Best Idea, and the adding of Funniest Story and Negative awards.

Can we collect current opinions on them now, ahead of a possible vote on changing categories BEFORE the last nomination round late September?

I'm all for the addition of Funniest Story and the removal of Best Title and Best Idea.

But, if I'm honest I don't think Negative awards are a good idea. I don't see the benefit in rewarding retarded behaviour.

Adding Funniest Story in lieu of Funniest Writer is a good idea. Best Tutle and Idea need to go, the former because it's a useless catagory and the latter becayse there hasn't been a "new" idea in years. I also don't like the idea of negative awards- as Xenon said above, stupidity should not be rewarded.
