just starting my 6th season.
took over at liverpool a season ago finished 3rd in my first full season and im in the process of rebuilding the squad back to its former glory after several managers f*****g up the squad.
i im in desperatley in need of a central def as carragher is getting on a bit.
my targets are:
albiol (£31 mill)
vidic (got quoted £33 mill he wants to leave 2)
taylor (got quoted £32 mill by sevilla)
richards (got quoted £44 mill)
i mean come on theses prices are riddiculous and the clubs wont budge on prices either.
if a team in real life offered these amounts of money for the above, there would be no question they would snap there hands off and laughing all the way to the bank.
si have got the transfer market prices way off course on fm2009, unrealistic in my view.
but apart from that i love the game and si have done a great job.
I'm not sure which Taylor you ar referring to, as for the other 3 their clubs are unlikey to want to sell them & the prices appear to reflect that along with their importance to the team as a whole.
its steven taylor from newcastle. sevilla signed for £9 million and now they want riddiculous money for him.
as for teh others. i understand this but there asking price is way over there value and surely they could bring in a similiar replacement and extra players with the money want for the player.
Can't agree with your ascertion, lets use the Vidic example.
ManUtd agree to sell him to you for £25m, they now need a replacement of equal/better ability so they make a few enquiries. The selling club kows they have the £25m you gave them plus some no doubt healthy cash reserves so they ask for £35m.
You have to ask yourself unless they have a better/younger player lined up & a deal more or less agreed why would they agree to sell a player only to end up in the difficult position of having to get his replacement, they've lost an integral member of they're team who is used to their style of play & will also more than likely be out of pocket to boot.
