Had it in pretty much all versions of the game. Towards the end of some matches my keeper comes forward for corners even when I'm in the lead.
It's cost me a fair few goals over the years and apart from being occasionally funny is a tad frustrating to say the least.
Does this happen to any of you?
havent really played the new game that much aiting for the patcg to come out but i can see why it can be funny and frustrating although all i can say is put his mentality slider to ultra defensive and everything else ike stay back at all times instead of default in player instructions!! hope that helps

not played on the full version of 08 yet but in previous versions of the game goalkeeper instructions used to change after making substitutes.
I have only seen this once, as Chelsea Cech decided to go up, and almost cost me the match, we were only 1-0 up at the time, but the other player fortunately missed
It's a crazy way to lose a match, seen some cracking goals tbf
I think it sometimes happens after I put the team mentality setting to all out attack, even after I've changed it back to normal it still happens and I have to quickly change the goalie setting to stay back for corners.
this cost me in 07 was winning in uefa cup on away goals keeper goes up for corner which results in them scoring. Also happened to me in this luckely though they didnt take advantage
Could it be because you had your mentality set to completely attacking? It would make sense that if that were the case, everyone in the team would try all they could to score.

No, that's not it. This has been around for some time now. It happened to me like once a month or something in FM07. The keeper's instructions would be changed randomly after making substitutions.
The daft goalie wants to score a goal bug
