wat really ANNOYS me is when u find the perfect player for your lower league team and you get to his contract demands and he wants 20x for than hes getting at his current club!!!! does my head in... anyone able to shed any light on why this happens???

Maybe, if you are in a lower league than his current team, he will only move if you pay him more or it could be that he feels he is undervalued at his current club.

Have you tried amending the squad status you are offering? The better the squad status you offer, the higher wages you can offer.

im mk dons in championship and im going for a player in same league at a slightly better team. he wants £45k but i can only offer £20k per week. the problem has stopped me buying the players that improve my squad.
