I have one solution to this - don't just reject bids! You should negotiate for a price you think you'd sell the player for. If you don't want to sell - just ask for some unrealistic sum (like 15 mil or something in that range). I have never had a bid for my player accepted by the chairman just because I have never rejected any bids (a few enquires maybe). I hope I helped!!!

That doesn't always work, I negotiated a offer o f£800k for one of my best players who I wanted to keep up amd asked for £5m, the chairman accepted the return offer of £800k plus sell on fees.
Wouldn't have been so bad if he hadn't cost the club(before I arrived £4.8m) I got a news item saying he'd cost the club £180k a game.
