Marcus Babbel. He was never the same player after it. Took him much longer than 8 months as well.

That was Markus Babbel I think

On a previous version of the game Ortega started with a viral infection, out for 8 months - However he actually was out because he was an alcoholic and took half a season out for treatment

There were rumours that Keiron Dyer had/has hepatitis, which would explain his poor injury record at NUFC.
