Is it possible to score many goals from long shots in 8.01? I haven't scored a single goal from outside the box (other than chips on 1 v 1s) since the patch came out.

I know that long shots were toned down in order to reduce the # of goals - but just how bad is it for everyone else? I've got some players with 15+ for long shots, but I do typically play lower leagues - so my players aren't perfect.

All of my midfielders scored at least 3 goals from outside the box.

I can't stop my players from shooting long, even though I've told them all not to. I usually find my MCs are shooting 5-6 times a match long. Annoyance

DISCLAIMER: They are not set to high creativity, their stats are alright in decisions etc. and they have no preference of shooting long.

My AMC scored 21 goals from long shots in my first season, patched for 2nd season and he hasn't scored yet and i'm in December. Although this may also be due to being in a higher division this year so playing against better keepers. Also i think this may be balanced by the fact that last year i was not awarded a single penalty this year scored 5 already so i suppose its swings and roundabouts.
