Just recently took over napoli half way through their season, had a good set of players but 15mil in debt. I thought see out the season sell 1 of my top players get in tv money and i'll be fine end of the month Aubey contract terminated ok not my best player i can live with that. Half way through the next month they do the same to my best two strikers Bendtner and lavezzi which could have made me 30+ mil and the end of the season they sais they need to reduce the wage bill so they let go of my best two players and keep a 33yr old player on 43k in the reserves. Unless there is a takeover this is gonna be difficult as im meant to be top 6 team.
This hasn't happened to me exactly, but 6 of my 8 strikers went down within 3 weeks of each other. Hard to win when 16 year olds with composures of 3 shooting at goal.
