Default Which will do me better, dual processor or single big processor?

Hey Gang,

Looking to upgrade the end of this year and I'm wondering, if hoping to get the most out of FM 2008, which system would sim the rest of the other teams in my league's games quicker, dual processors of moderate power or a single higher powered processor?

Mutliple core all the way, don't get bogged down by clock speed as this is no longer the sole indicator of performance.

I've got a 2.33ghz core 2 duo and it handles FM 2008 very nicely with quite a few leagues. Currently running 25 from 10 nations. Havent tried any more than this but don't really expect any problems if I do increase the amount of leagues.

I've got a core 2 duo 2.4 GHz overclocked to 2.8 GHz and it runs fm 07 a lot faster than my Athlon 64 3200+ ever did

Also runs fm 08 really fast (I tried 07 on it more or less for a direct comparison)

I've got a 1.66GHz Core 2 Centrino Duo and I usually run FM with about 40 leagues and it's fine. Not rapid but easily fast enough.
