Sigh... I have tried very hard to remain calm and reasonable, but really, things are very, very poor with this current version. Some things that need to be fixed:
Confidence issues remain. Check my posts in the San Marino challenge. It seems confidence is inverted - I was sacked for overachieving, and when I utterly ballsed up a season, the confidence was full when I should have resigned for making such a hash of it.
Player registrations are ruined. Spain unplayable by all accounts.
Norway is near unplayble due to homegrown rules incorrectly implemented.
Turkey... oh dear. Turkey.
New stadium data is very poor. No Estadi RCDE for Espanyol, Juventus Arena, Shakhtar's new stadium, Panathaniakos, and none of the improved grounds around Poland and Ukraine so Euro 2012 is played in run down dumps.
Shots on target remains a tough political issue here, much like global warming its very existence is a hot topic. Personally I feel its a bit excessive how many shots are hit straight at the keeper.
German teams never turn even semi-pro, making the nicely implemented new Regional leagues a mess of amateurs. Add that to outdated kits - but dont fear, Toni Kroos's potential has been upped!
Lower league attendances have attracted controversy, was tuned in the patch but still seems erratic to many.
Players gaining second nationalities doesnt seem to work. Worst in Spain where its vital to fit quotas, which is already hurting from registration bugs.
I really dont mean to aimlessly moan and bash SI, I have more reason to be thankful for FM than most, as its helped me immensely as I've struggled with illness for the past several years. I'm just very, very disappointed with how this version has turned out, and would at least like some assurance that some of these issues are at least being taken seriously. I'd like it if I was able to get into playing this game properly before February...
Add to list: board not recognising improvement when taking over a club mid-season. My little brother's first ever FM game ended that way actually - he wasnt enjoying Hearts so resigned and applied for the Chievo job. They expected promotion, he actually took them from bottom half to just under the playoffs... and was sacked. 9 year old on his first FM game. Customer lost
