| Totally agree with you here I think this is a ridiculos part of the game and i'm dissapointed it hasn't been adressed for FM08 :thdn: </BLOCKQUOTE>
Agree with this, it's happened to me a few times with various players. It's very silly.
Also on the subject of transfers, when a team inquire or make a bid for my player, they NEVER follow up the inquiry. Fair enough if I ask for stupid amounts, but I don't. Even if I ask for a price lower than their value, teams won't follow up on their inquiry. Very annoying, I want teams to negotiate more!

I thought it was because I started low balling for the player.
I had an initial offer of 12 mil, I offered 7 mil, They counted at 10 mil, I offered 7 mil. They came back with 17 mil, and then sold him to Newcastle for 7.5 mil plus bonuses.
I just thought the AI was sick of my antics so it was their way of telling me to get lost.

Also why is it when commentray says the players are surronding the ref the players never are surrounding the ref, why can't i see my players running to the ref or the linesman? also why can't in rival games we see players all pushing annd squaring up to each other when a nasty challenge is made abit like man utd vs arsenal when ruud missed the peantly for example why can't some small things be put into the match engine to take it to the next step so it don't just feel like i'm buying a updated fm 07, but infact it actually feels like i bought a updated fm 06. AI | Im sorry, but whilst I can agree that FM08 isnt hugely different to say its backward and listing what you have there is a little over dramatic.
Dugouts at the top of the screen ? Who cares..
Snow and rain faliing ? Who cares
Players surrounding the ref ? Who cares
Nothing you have suggested would make the match engine any better and I dont see how them not being introduced means the game has moved backwards.
If anything after the patch and seeing how the passing has improved and the player movement with fullbacks overlapping and linking properly with wingers its moved forwards.

Lots of people on here way to picky.
I laugh when I see "this is the worst game of all time!!!!!!!!" and then their reason is because there are no dugouts, or something stupid like their 07 tactic doesn't work anymore and they are losing.
give me a break this is a great game and when they patch it will be awesome

| Completely agree and sorry for bringing this up but i have just played the championship manager 08 demo and i thought it was terrible. So i would always stick with fm08 because whatever anybody says this is the most realistic management sim around.
