Guys - am I ready to play???

Have had FM 08 for a month but am yet to play as I had read so many problems concerning bugs - mainly the infamous closing down issue. I didn't want to start a career only to stop and re-start once the problems are fixed.

Now that the first official patch has been released, can I start my game? Has the closing down bug been fixed? Is the patced version playing well? Basically, has it sorted the major issues so that I can start to play and not look back.

In my opinion it was playable before, so yes it is definately playable now, I think i would have just played it rather than posting on here and asking if you can.
But i give you permission to start

i cant play it on this computer as i have the engine bug that looks like wont be fixed

so im on the laptop playing which is slow

Thanks for that you cheeky sods! I was also enjoying a long game on 07 so that was half the reason I didn't start straight away.

I'll get on with it now then and keep my thoughts to myself in future.
