Has anyone found success with team talks? If so, please share. I am struggling with them, and I believe many others as well.

Well, no replies. So let me say what my thoughts on the subject are. This is turning out ok, but not well. At least the assistant always says that no effects were there.

Personally I have identified one thing about team talks. Something that has worked for you does not work for ever. After a certain point you have to change it.

The thumb rule I follow are

Home games:

Pre match: You can win tonight mostly.
Against arch rivals "for the fans".
Against vastly superior opponents "pressure is off".

Half time: If you are pleased with result "thrilled"(pleased does not seem to work).
If you are not pleased "disappointed".
If you are losing aginst a vastly better opponent "you can win".


Post match: If you are pleased with the result say pleased.
If you are not pleased sympathise

Away games:

Pre match: Wish luck mostly.
Against arch rivals "pressure is off"
Against vastly superior opponents "pressure is off"

Half time: If you are please with the result "thrilled"(pleased does not seem to work)
If you are losing "encourage"
If you are losing aginst a vastly better opponent "you can win"


Post match: If you are pleased with the result say pleased
If you are not pleased sympathise
