I have been using this tactic on the new patch with much success in both league 1 and the championship with gillingham ang in the prem with sunderland(got promotion in first season with gillingham and playoffs in season 2) and just finished 6th in prem in first season with sunderland and qualified for europe. i score lots of goals eben though its quite defensive

I can't remember the last 4-4-2 that worked with this damned game. If your tactic stands the test you've got a fan for life.

Well i've played 1st game with your tactic i was away to Bolton who are bottom of the Prem, i'm Oldham Athletic, i was 2nd, but like Serpico said i'm sick of all these 1 up front weird formations.

Well i'm pleased to report i won 4-1 should of scored about 10, created around 30 chances with 16 on target , and restricted Bolton to just 3 chances with 2 on target.

I'll keep testing as it was only 1 game against bottom of the league side but i was impressed on how they played.

Tried this on my lower league St. Albans team. Im in second season after promotion in 1st.

Had been on a down streak so decided to try this...

1st match against a mid-table team away (im battling for relegation myself):
After first half I was down 2-0 and everything seemed like it use too.
But then... Obviously the players just needed a half to get to know the tactics, because their second half performance was a joy. 5 goals(!!), 0 conceded and a total demolition of my opponent was what i was witnessing...

A good start for this tactic, I will report back after some more games...

I've d/loaded this and will certainly be giving it a go if responses remain so promising.

I'd love to be able to play a 4-4-2, but so far in 08 its been nigh on impossible?.
