Having a forum that tells you "this player is great, this big time player isn't, buy this player, buy this young player and in about 3 season he'll be the greatest" - comeon isn't that cheating?
Isn't this the job of your scouts? Yeap they (scouts) sometimes get it wrong but itsn't that the whole fun of the game?

It's just like a manager would ask his scout's, who is a promising young winger I could buy? Or who is an experienced defender I could buy?
I find in-game scout reports are sometimes off ( I play as Arsenal so I have good scouts).
I also never buy or sell 100% on someone's recommendation. If I buy or sell someone it's because I want to do it and someone has suggested a good move to make which I was looking at anyway.
You think managers around the world dont talk to each other and recommend players to each other irl?? You wont say they're cheating now would you? You dont HAVE to buy players on your own. You get feedback on players from various different people first. For eg, if a manager sees a player he likes at a smaller club, he'll send his scouts to go and look him up for a few matches. Then he'll probably have a word with the manager of that club about their player (obviously this will depend on relations and whether the club is willing to sell the player). He might ask other managers in the leage who've come up against the player. Then he'll make a decision. Its the same here.
Also, you DO have to find players for yourself as well. Once you're past the first year, you start to get a lot of regens. Scouting for them and trying to find a gem is a challenge. Also, when you buy a player (whether big name or small) its mostly up to you how he performs. Give him the wrong instructions and he wont perform. Thats the challenge of the game.

Good point.
Arsene Wenger recommended Benjani for Harry Rednapp.
I think looking for players from forums equals using any scouting program and can be considered cheating. I usually restrict myself only buying players my scouts have spotted.

Yes, sure. I'm sure everyone will believe you saying that on a forum called "Good player and team guide"
