My apologies one and all, Uni and my 2 part time jobs have kept me away from this story so i apologise!

I shall try and update later tonight, just to let people know that the story isnt dead, i'm 4 seasons behind where i've been playing so even though FM07 is out, i have much left to tell.

October 2009

After the Internationals the week before, we kicked off October with a wonderful win over Arbroath at Hampden Park. Three goals, one each for Teggart, Fitzpatrick and an OG, led us to a 3-1 victory. Unfortunately despite scoring 3 goals away at promotion hopefuls Raith we were unable to come away with anything, slipping to a disappointing 4-3 defeat.

We scored 3, twice more in the month hitting 3 goals on route to a 3-0 win over Berwick and a 3-1 defeat of Alloa at the Rec. thanks to a stunning hatrick from Jon Lavercombe. The only match in October where we failed to score 3 times was the 1-1 draw at home to Brechin .

October was perhaps the real start to our season, especially for our misfiring strikers. 13 goals in the month was stunning, and it was only tempered somewhat by the 7 we conceded. We were now looking up instead of down the table and if we failed to make the playoffs playing like this then I really did wonder if we were in the right Division.
