FMS Awards 2006 - Betting Thread

Starting it actually a little bit earlier, before the final nominations are announced because well its more interesting that way.

Rules are, everyone has a virtual £1000FMS to spend in the betting, place any bet you want person with the most cash at the end wins. Can't remember who won last year but its usually someone with Brian/Bryan in their name.

Odds will be updated later once the full list is out so its up to you to wait or take advantage now, if indeed there is an advantage! (if there is a bet you want to place but its not listed simply ask!)

BTW anyone is eligible to bet, whether you post/read/spew here regularly or not. Although if you never visit this forum much there won't be much point because you wont have any idea will you? Unless you're an alias. Come on little aliases, come and bet!

I don't think you've taken my track record into account in calculating these odds.

tempted to put a 1 pound double on silverfox's nomination tbh. Hmm, I usually do quite well here, will have to think about this to calculate the best chances, I take this far too seriously I think

I have a feeling this is gonna be your year HD. Putting all your money at 1/3 isnt that great, what about a double soty/int story or something?

Give you 5/1 on that at this time HD, so you want to go for the treble? (which by my reckoning returns total odds of 8/1)

In order to win this, I think people need to take risks although iirc BrianW bet all his money on something outrageous one year that actually came off. Jammy git.

I think I might have a go this time, I usually dont but actually there is no reason I cant as I dont know the results anyway!

And remembering if any of your three bets didn't make the actual final list, that would be all your money gone
