Ok as HD rightly pointed out, its about time we had a new round of challenges. I would like to have each round of challenges based around a particular 'theme' if possible. Now if anyone can think of themes, let me know and I'll consider them for the future.
What I'd like for this round is challenges perhaps based around the feeder/parent club systems but possibly in the more obscure leagues in the game, like Austria or Belgium that rarely if ever get played.
Thinking caps on anyway, send all challenges to me at the email in my profile clearly marked with the challenge title and your own FMS user name.
Don't worry if you have an idea that you think isn't fully worked out yet, as these things can be worked on when the challenge comes out for the vote or when it wins, theres always room for discussion.
This nomination round will last until Sunday the 12th of November when we will vote for those we want to play.
Any questions, feel free to ask.

Does this mean that you want to restrict the challenge to FM2007 only? This would be the implication of basing it around a new feature such as feeder clubs.

Hmm. Guess thats a bad idea atm then, because a lot of people won't have FM07 yet or not be comfortable with it so we'll put that on the back burner for now.
Lets just have a free for all this time then!

OK - I'll kick it off then. I'm thinking of a Bobby Robson Challenge. Mirror the great man's career, not necessarily using the same clubs as that is very restrictive, but managing in the same countries - UK, Holland, Portugal, Spain - and throwing in a bit of International Management along the way. Any thoughts?

Just a thought, but seeing the popularity of the Ages challenge, wouldn't it be a good idea doing the same thing with international management? Might be a suggestion changing the ages a bit, like under 24 for the youth, and 30 or older for the oldies-way?

How about something simple like: Get to and win the top division in a country using exclusively players of one nationality, which cannot be the nation in which you are playing?
