I thought that I would let the ordinary people have a go (basically, yes I have run out of ideas - at least for the moment).

I've been waiting until I got 07 to see if I could come up with any new ideas... but seeing as how I haven't got it yet...

The only vague idea I've had to be honest was an attempt at repeating something I did on 01/02. Basically the essentials were taking a lower level Danish club and turning them into a European Power by flooding the club with Brazilian imports. I'm not sure what the restrictions are going to be in 07 though.

I'm wondering about something then. Firstly, are challenges still viable and secondly as there has been a poor response, and no offence to those who have gone to the effort of submitting a challenge but few of them I think will really catch the imagination, I was thinking mibbe to list all the previous challenges that never became official and vote for two of those?

Good idea. Perhaps a list of some of the best challenge ideas that didn't make it previously plus a few half-decent ideas from this round to pick from.

The older challenges could be slightly adapted to suit FM07 and/or FM06.

i have an idea but don't know if its been done before. It didn't work for me with the older games but this one its worked for me.

You start off with a club in the lowest division of any country. you can't make any signings but you can sell players. only players you can get is your youths.

I'm doing a scottish one which is easy as no teams get relegated from the lowest division and i finished 8th.

I like that suggestion - there have been some good ideas that never quite made it and they are worth looking at again.
