My idea was involving the leagues very rarely played as PM7 said (Belgium, Austria etc.) Its involving picking 3 and winning league and cup doubles and one Euro trophy, then picking one of these countries and winning one of the 2 major tournaments. obviously time could be an issue, and attracting players, althought there is no limit on clubs size

OK - I'll kick it off then. I'm thinking of a Bobby Robson Challenge. Mirror the great man's career, not necessarily using the same clubs as that is very restrictive, but managing in the same countries - UK, Holland, Portugal, Spain - and throwing in a bit of International Management along the way. Any thoughts?
I quite enjoyed the Alex Ferguson challenge though. I suppose it could be based that you need at some point to manage the same clubs but that you can use others as stepping stones if neccessary because its not always easy to get the job you want.

How about something simple like: Get to and win the top division in a country using exclusively players of one nationality, which cannot be the nation in which you are playing?
You'd have to pick your starting country carefully otherwise you will have work permit problems and foreign player issues. I seem to recall that Belgium has none of those restrictions, for example. </BLOCKQUOTE>
This is true Bob.
I think Belgium would be a good starting point. From personal experience it certainly could be done, I won the Belgian league with an Anderlecht side made up of about 22 (of a 25 man squad) Burkina Faso players with FM2006.
Not a bad idea but I might have to think of something a little different

The slight drawback I see with this is that everyone will be playing with the same small set of clubs. Past experience suggests that it works better if a variety of clubs can be selected by different people.
