7th February: England (2) v Denmark (17); Friendly

Starting Line Up: GK - B.Foster, RB - W.Brown, LB - J.Hoyte, CB - S.Campbell (capt), CB - A.Ferdinand, MR - K.Dyer, ML - W.Routledge, MC - K.Nolan, MC - T.Walcott, FC - D.Webber, FC - D.Nugent

Subs: R.Green, W.Bridge, B.Jones, M.Richards, J.Terry, A.Johnson, D.Bent, C.Eagles,D.Bentley

My young players started really well and created an early chance with Webber coming close to scoring, the same player then set Dyer up who managed to rattle the post from just inside the area. On the 23rd minute the game changed for us as Kevin Nolan decided it was appropiate to lunge two-footed into a Danish player. It earnt him a straight red card and meant we had to play the remaining 67 minutes with only ten men. Denamrk took full advantage and started to press forward more, My defence did me proud and held out till the half time break.
At the break I told the players to keep up the excellent work and told them to rely on counter attacks.
We started well in the second half but didn't get many chances to go forward, on the 60th minute I decided to change the team around abit, I took off A.Ferdinand,S.Campbell,D.Nugent and W.Routledge and brought on B.Jones, J.Terry who took the captains armband, D.Bent and D.Bentley. Unfortunatly this didn't have th desired affect but my ten men held on to earn a good 0-0 draw

England 0 - 0 Denmark

14th February: Despite the 0-0 draw with Denmark we managed to stay 2nd in the World Rankings with Italy keeping hold of top spot

25th February: The first major domestic trophy has been won as Blackburn defeated Tottenham Hotspurs 2-0 in the League Cup, with goals from Nonda (12) and Pederson (60)

14th March: We remain in 2nd place in the world rankings with the Italians still top

18th March; With the next two qualifiers coming up we had some unfortunate injury news as Michael Carrick will be out for up to 2 months with a bad hip injury also we have lost Captain John Terry for the next two games with a groin strain but I have asked him to come with the squad as he is the team captain

I called up Kieron Dyer as a replacement to Carrick but he rejected my call up saying he wasn't going to play second fiddle to anyone.

19th March: The press have asked me whether Dyer will feature in any upcoming squads of mine after rejecting the call up and I told them " As long as I'm manager he wont be adding to his England caps, I wanted players who would play for the country if they 2nd, 3rd or 4th choice"

24th March: Israel (60) v England (2); Euro Champs Qualifier

Starting Line Up:GK - P.Robinson, RB - G.Neville (capt), LB - J.Carragher, CB - S.Campbell, CB - R.Ferdinand, MR - D.Beckham, ML - S.Downing, MC - S.Gerrard, MC - F.Lampard, FC - P.Crouch, FC - J.Defoe

Subs; B.Foster, J.Woodgate, W.Brown, J.Cole, O.Hargraeves, K.Richardson, T.Walcott

We satrted well with against a seemingly poor Israeli side, after only 12 minutes Lampard had the first shot of the game but it went high and wide. Crouch then had a great header tipped over the post, from the resulting corner Israel countered us and Robinson had to be wide awake to tip it round the post. At hafl time I told the players they had to improve alot and they needed to press the weak Israeli defence.
On the 61st minute I brought on K.Richardson and T.Walcott for S.Gerrard and J.Defoe, I also changed the formation to a 4-3-1-2. We dwere dominating the play but our finishing was letting us down. On the 85th minute a poor back pass by captain Neville cost us the lead as Israel took full advantage and slotted home. Luckily for us they seemed to think that was enough to win the game and they let there guard down and within two minutes ex-captain saved his best mates skin by equalising with a typical Beckham long ranger. Unfortunatly the game was ruined by a Lampard being sent off for two yellow card

Israel 1 - 1 England (Beckham 87)

Injury news see's Gerrard picking up a knock and he will miss the next game against Andorra

28th March: Andorra (146) v England (2): Euro Champs Qualifier

Starting Line Up:Walcott replaces Injured Gerrard, Hargreaves replaces suspended Lamaprd, P.Neville and Wright-Phillips are on the bench

We started sluggish and didn't look like we knew how to pass a ball, the pitch didn't help really but thats no excuse for players of the quality we've got. After the opening minutes we started to gain some control of the game and it wasn't long till we had our first shot as Beckham fired a thunderous effort from 20 yards, but his effort went straight to the keeper.
On the 32nd minute we opened the scoring as Walcott's cross was volleyed into the back of the net by Defoe, Five minutes later the same player doubled the lead with a sloppy shot which somehow managed to bobble over the line. We were slaughtering them and on the 39th minute we scored again as Defoe scored a third to complete his hat trick.
We continued our dominanace in the second half with Defoe looking to add to his hattrick. On the 66th minute I brought on Joe Cole for Downing who looked to be struggling with a knock. For all our dominanace we couldn't add to our goal tally and had to settle with a 3-0 win, but in truth it should of been a lot more

Andorra 0 - 3 England (Defoe 32, 37, 39)

1st April; Premiership so Far

1st - Man.Utd -- 66pts
2nd - Chelsea -- 62pts
3rd - Arsenal -- 59pts

Relegation;
18th - Bolton -- 33pts
19th - Sheff.Utd -- 31pts
20th - Reading -- 27pts

12th April: The European Champions Cup semi-final draw has been made and the ties are as follows;
Real Madrid v Lyon
HSV v Inter Milan

18th April: The World Rankings have been released and we remain second with the Italians still first

20th - Reading -- 31pts

2nd May: After the some good Champions League semi-finals the final will be played out between Real Madrid and Inter Milan

13th May; The final day of the Premiership see's Manchester United become champions with Chelsea runners up and finally Arsenal third. The relegated teams are Sheff.Utd who went down on the last day, Fulham and Reading

16th May: The UEFA cup has been played and Barcelona outplayed Liverpool to beat them 2-0

In the Wrold Rankings ther is no change as we remain second with Italy keeping top spot
