PSV and AZ after poor starts now find themselves seperated by a point on top of the table, with plucky Vitesse three points adrift from the top.NAC Breda who lead the Division in the ealry part with 7 wins from as many starts now find itself mid table. Feyenood and Ajax both taking eight point from their last 5 games will look to maintain their form for a good run home.

With the transfer window now opening it will be interesting to see if any of the top clubs look for additions, more notably Ajax who suffered a few bad results when all three of their strikers missed games through injury.

AMSTERDAM, February 1st (Eredivisie)- AFC Ajax managed to capture two of the biggest transfers in what was an extremely quiet transfer window. In addition to signing Marco Ruben from River for $7,000,000, Ajax also tied up a $2,000,000 deal for Santos attacking full back Carlinhos. Interestingly, league runners up Ajax were also the most active team during the window, strengthening their squad with no less than six players.
