I just downloaded the patch.. but i can't seem to get the option of selecting it when I click on "new game"

so where do i need to put it?

You double-click the patch icon, which then self-installs the patch into your FM.

They you just play FM as normal.

Ive neatly stashed it away in the sports interactive folder so it doesnt clog up my desktop!
