Sorry - I tried using the search but couldnt find the exact answer.

Been playing FM 8.0.0 with Ipswich, now in my 5th season and doing really well so I don't really want to have to start all over. I've got the staduim bug issue where it never increases after the building work. My question is now I've applied the 8.0.1 patch will the issue remain with my current game? With old FM's I think you always had to start a new game to solve the problems?

This will be extremely annoying if so, put alot of hard work into this current game!

Anyone? I can't see where it says if the patch only applies to new games?

Sorry, do you mean the bug where the expansion goes through, but then when you save the game and next reload then it reverts to the original capacity? I started a game without patching, then patched to beta2 and the expansion went through fine, so I suspect that the answer is it will work fine on your current game. They have only said that this will not fix damage already done (i.e. won't expand your stadium up to what it should have been if the previous expansions had gone ahead as planned).

Thank you very much indeed, this is exactly what I was asking. I can live with the pervious 2 updates of 4700 seats not being applied if future ones work.
