I was under the impression that in previous issues of FM, you were unable to either loan out or in players who are on a youth contract.
I must admit to knowing if this is the case in real life.
In FM08 however I have just managed to sign an 18 year old midfielder on loan from Luton. He is still on a youth contract, so maybe it has changed between 07 & 08 from not allowing players on youth contracts to move on loan, to a certain age after which it is accectable for these players to move on loan.
Perhaps someone could shed some light on this subject for me please.
