I'm gonna take a wild guess that you mean patches instead of threads?

They fix the bugs in the game, most of them anyway, and make it easier to play.

I think he means patches Barnzy And I for one couldn't stand 08 out of the box. Now with the patch it's miles (no pun intended) better. Why should I play a game with bugs when I can patch it up? Makes no sense!

Pro Evo came out of the box with online problems which were fixed in a patch, similar with Cricket 2007, its common.

I try to but sometimes you lose something and have to replace it, take for example Monopoly; you lose a game piece or a dice or some paper money or cards of some sort what arey ou going to do?!!!
Instead of giving up you just print some fake money or buy some more dice and just play with those. No need imho to buy a new game when you can continue....and it's NOT cheating in any way!

i love it when every once in a while some genious opens a 'one sentence' thread, telling everyone to shut up and just play the game.


constructive criticism improves the game, the govt, get shitty coaches sacked...its a part of life. if it wasn't for that, then we would just accept the average.
