Why is everyone jumping on the "text speak"? Every word is spelled correctly, except two out of the first four, and the two missing apostrophes (which isn't text speak to be fair). Apparently everyone in this thread only read the first 6 words of this cryptic statement and wanted to sound clever as quickly as possible.
We should be jumping on his sentence structure, misunderstanding of the verb "to get", and inability to find the full stop button. THAT would be clever.

constructive criticism improves the game, the govt, get shitty coaches sacked...its a part of life. if it wasn't for that, then we would just accept the average.

Because they know that typing messages in such a style is frowned on here. We have a massive community with people from all over the world contributing/lurking. It takes ME three times as long to read the opening post as it would if it were written correctly, and I'm English. God help people who are having to translate.

No, no, i get that.
The "text speak" in that sentence is only within the first three words, whilst more than 80% of the post is fine.
More proof that people only read the first few words of posts, it seems...

| Just because it's only in part of the sentance doesn't make it any more acceptable imo.

i'm one of them. not denying that there were issues, but veteran fm players would find work arounds for the shot/goal ratio issue for example (not a bug, adjust your TRAINING, ffs).
| I just have to ask, in what way do you think training can affect how many chances your players create in a match? </BLOCKQUOTE>
you exhaust them so they cant run, break down. that should do it. a brilliant suggestion, adjust the training </BLOCKQUOTE> seriously, you guys...
people are complaining about having 20+ shots and few on target, resulting in no goals... and losing 0-1 because of this.
train your strikers to shoot, dammit. it honestly worked for me, i was drawing 0-0 with 20 odd shots on goal, missing sitters and all that. adjusted training to high shooting and ball control, average of 65-85% shots on target (not out of a ridiculous amount of shots, i might add), average 3 goals per game. that was my point.
i said shots/goal ratio, not shots created.
blood & sand...

Not sure I understand the point of this thread.
I don't feel like I'm cheating because I read some "threads"?

He meant "patches", not "threads". this thread has only lasted this long because of that one mistake. The OP's point was that he doesn't see why we have to download patches. He believes the game should be 100% playable and beyond improvement, out of the box. In a way, he's right, but this isn't a perfect world, and so the patches are a good thing.
